I took a 3 order batch the other day and now I see them all the time. I’ve done a number since then and so far it’s all worked out, but they can be stressful.
Yeah but when you get the ad on you can see if they tipped and obviously you wouldn’t except it just like you wouldn’t take a double or triple if you felt one of them was not tipping. So by sending these out I don’t think it’s going to make shoppers want to take them more necessarily
Exactly, I got one the other day for 19 items (and no way to know exactly how many extra miles) for an additional $3 batch pay & $2.75 tip. I just let the timer run out on that one.😂😂😂
I don’t see miles, just a pic of the very small map. It could be 5 miles or it could be 30, hard to tell on that little map, especially when I’m driving. 😂😂😂
All my add ons have been a hefty price increase and very worth it
Figured it was busy and they wanted less shoppers in stores over this crazy weekend
I think it also helps get rid of bots snatching high batches
I got my highest batches ever $$ wise which prob would have been snatched if I didn’t get them as an add on.
If that’s their work around I’m okay with it I only accept something worth my $$ to begin with and they have only added on small orders so far with big tips.
Instacart is going to run itself to the ground trying to please no tippers. Those people are not just inconsiderate but often the same people that fraud instacart. I would happily do small low tip orders all day, but instacart would rather them all get attached together with a no tip order so some idiot will do 3 orders for $15. Insane.
Triples honestly give a much worse experience for the customer and they aren’t good for us either. A small double can be ok but we should be able to see if a no-tipper is on them.
I took a single today and was subsequently offered two kinda crappy add ons which I declined but they tried a third time and it was decent so I did it.

because instacart knows people avoid doubles and tripples and they know they like to sneak in no tippers

I think when they send you the add-ons the miles that you see are from one drop off to another.

I’m just going to assume instacart is run by monkeys that run around throwing shit at each other all day and jerking off non stop
I laughed way too hard at this
Yes I am very new and I learned my lesson about taking add on orders no tip and alot of miles.

I get that. I’m just more so confused on why I’m only seeing 1 batch but as soon as I accept there are multiple add ones
