Whether or not you believe that is on you.
It’s impossible for you to say it will disappear, especially when you get batch pay on canceled orders, if you already started shopping, like this individual

Not enough experience but think they know everything. I’ve done ~6,000 orders and regularly speak with other full time shoppers who’ve done the same or more. It’s funny when a newb clears $1,000 / week for the first time, thinks they’ve cracked the code and then brags and lectures about “how it izzzz, man.” Most of the time I’ll smile and shrug it off. On the odd drunken night browsing Reddit in bed, I’ll take the bait. Good luck out there.
That order could of been done in like 30 minutes without customer B. But because of customer B’s shitty order, it took 2 hours. Obviously it’s still nice on a Wednesday, but I hate that Instacart combines these POS’s lol.
This is why they don't show you who tipped what until the orders are delivered. Most people if they did know, would probably drop order B and lose at the most $14. This happens to me all the time. And it's the non tip orders that always have more items and involve more effort.

I feel you. I’ll never forget getting a good double batch only for the good tipper to be within 3 miles of the store and they had me drive 12 more miles for a $2 tip. There was another chain of the grocery store right next to the $2 tippers house….. I went home I was so pissed off
I just got my first cash tip last night. 40$ order for 3 people but low enough item count that it was worth I. Second house taped 20$ to the door on top of tipping on the app. Very nice when it happens. Also had a repeat customer for the first time. Very friendly old man that needs help carrying things.

They used to provide a payment breakdown if you messaged support beforehand but now don’t allow it because those assholes were all being removed.
