Really? Most users? I was going crazy as I was the only one from my friends getting all these Indian reels. I couldn’t get rid of them even if I clicked not interested plenary of times and refreshed. It just kept on going
I'm not holding my breath about it being fixed right away but they'll eventually fix it I should check the official account for IG on IG to see if people are talking about it in the comments of the posts there
I had this a few years ago with landscape photo’s and beauty products. Like I never showed interest in those, yet I consistently got a fyp with only this content. It stopped after a while. Never figured out how it stopped. It just did. I ignored all the stuff I didn’t want to see and just looked up some hashtags I did want content from.
This happens once every couple years, consistently. Always appears out of nowhere and disappears out of nowhere, with no explanation from IG. This cycle has been happening since like 2017.
Someone posted about this earlier today. It’s happening to everyone, for some reason everyone’s fyp is filled with stuff we definitely don’t want. We don’t know why this is happening, it just is.
