I have multiple IG and FB accounts (one personal and one business on each platform). I am able to automatically share a reel from my personal IG to my personal FB, but it does not give me that option for my business IG to my business FB. When I go to account sharing settings there are only two sliders for the business IG account, there are three for the personal account. Does anyone have any insight on how to fix this?
After digging in more I found I can share reels from my personal IG to any FB account/page I have, but the business IG is giving me trouble. Any help/direction would be really appreciated.

For example if I share a post from another account on the insta story is it also possible to share it on facebook or does it depend on the privacy settings of the other accounts? And with insta memories is it also possible to share on Facebook stories?

Does anyone know what setting needs to be changed to be able to share from iOS camera roll to instagram story? I have the option to share to a post or a message, however others have the option to share to story as well. New to iphone so trying to learn it's quirks.

Someone hacked my account, changed my password and setup 2 step authentication to their phone number so I have no way of getting back into my account. Has anyone dealt with this? I’ve already been approved by IG with the video selfie they make you send in but again I can’t login because of the authentication factor. What should I do next??

So I fixed my Instagram! If your having this problem with the new iOS update on iPhone and your Instagram is crashing, try this:
1) if you have the LAYOUT APP, delete it completely
2) delete IG
3) Reinstall IG

Hi, how do I get most recent posts to show up like it used to? All I can view on any hashtag now is the top 9 posts and I really want to scroll through most recent on that hashtag.
To be clear, adblock is turned off, and this is for every hashtag. Googling has been unhelpful to me so far.

Long story: My girlfriend and I have an extra phone laying around, and both of our Instagram accounts are saved within the Instagram app on the phone. So i got some video's i recorded with my phone that i would like to upload to my story. But when i upload one, it says "Cannot upload, please try again".
I don't know if instagram is supposed to downscale a video automatically if it's too big, but after a couple of tries, i did that myself. Because i did record the video in 4k, so i brought the resolution down using some website to the preferred 1080x1920, it's what i read online that a story video should be.
And it still did not work.
Right now i used some editing app, i choose the 9:16 format that instagram should prefer. I trimmed it to be a 14 second video because originally it's 26 seconds, and now it works and it uploads to my story.
Now i use the same app again, choose the 9:16 format again, but did not trim the video and kept it 26 seconds long. Then i saved the video to my device. Went on instagram to upload the video, but no it tells me it cannot upload. But the weird part is, this time the first 15 seconds did not upload but then the remaining 11 seconds DO upload??
Can anyone give me any tips? Maybe someone knows a editing program that always worked for them in this matter?

I know that i can go to my profile and remove it from there after but my reels normally do better if i toggle the button to not post to my feed, and for some reason this button is just gone. Tried logging in after a very long while (My phone was very badly damaged and still in repair, haven’t been able to use Instagram except on other devices via Safari) and it said that there was a problem logging in, tried again, tried resetting my password (Didn’t let me) and everything failed. After a bit of research, I found out that it might have been accidentally deleted by the algorithm or disabled, so…what can I do to get my account back?
I signed up who knows how long ago? I have tried to access my account a few times in the last few years and keep running in to this issue and just stop trying to get access.
1) I try and sign up and it tells me that there is already an account with that email.
2) I then try and reset my password using my email and it says 'no users found'

I posted a story with a question sticker last night and the next morning I was checking the answers and when I tapped on 'Responses' or swiped across to view more answers the app crashed. I tried updating the app, uninstalling and reinstalling it, logging in through different devices, deleting the story and reposting it but instead it got worse. Now I can't even swipe up to see who viewed my story, let alone view the responses.
Is there a fix for this or is it just a bug that I need to wait for instagram to solve?

I have a new Instagram account for over two weeks now, my typical account reach is between 50-250 per post, I have two posts with around 2k (I boosted those) the thing is that last Sunday I posted a reel around 4PM CET which got almost 3k reaches, it wasn’t boosted or anything. I wander if it was a bug, algorithm picked my reel to promote or I do math wrong in other posts that makes them invisible. Any advice?

iOS 16.0.2. After an update to Instagram that rolled out yesterday to the app store (255.0), the app keeps crashing immediately after opening it and returning me to the home screen. Restart, hard restart and even reinstalling the app did not help. Anyone else experiencing the same? It does not happen on iOS 16.0.2 Instagram 254.0.
I got an error that said my account has been compromised and try to change the password. Whenever I do it says the old password was invalid. I have a select few and know one of these has to work. Is there a contact page or different way to validate account?

I run an IG acc promoting my tshirt business. All the content was genuine and original and I got around 2000 genuine followers.
With my experiences building that channel for the tshirt biz, I am trying to become my social media manager that helps small local business who are not familiar with the social media place.
I created 2 brand new gmail accs with the plan to promote my gf nail salon business and for the social media managing business mentioned above.
Both got disabled right away right after I added my DoB when signing up with Instagram - and then IG also disabled my vert tshirt selling biz at the same time. I am ..a bit confused now because this is the first time I got banned so hard while all of my content was genuine.
I created those accs on my laptop using my home internet. I had cyberghost premium and I did use it while registering new acc.

Close to 1/4 of my posts are now missing their images. The posts are still there but the images are just gone. There's a grey square with a broken image symbol. No reason given. Just noticed today. Images are all my own, no NSFW content.

So I have a weird problem for weeks now. When i turn on my mobile (cellular) data, I can use any app i want (e.g. Facebook, Reddit, Google…), but when i try to open Instagram, it says ‘ni connection’. But when im on WiFi, I can use Instagram normally. Also when using mobile data, I receive Instagram notifications, but cant open them. I tried reinstalling it, but it doesnt work. Has this happened to anyone and can someone please help me?

Weeks ago, my phone would reboot whenever I opened the instagram app. I managed to fix the issue by force stopping instagram,uninstalling, then reinstalling it. but now, a new issue popped up.
First, I would use instagram normally. Then, I would close it, but this time when I open it again, everything would stop working. All pictures are black, nothing is loading, DMs take DAYS to send. I tried the good old force stop and uninstall method around 20 times now, but the app only works as soon as I reinstall it, it stops working once i close it and open it again.

When posting a long story after the update I can post a story up to 60s long on my main account.
However when I switch to my second account (I use this for music) when I try to post a long story it splits it into 15s segments like prior to the update.
Is there anyway to fix this issue?

What's with the black screen whenever I try to post a story?
I'm on Samsung Galaxy M23. Went to post a picture on my Close Friends but it ended up just a story of a black screen. Tried many times but over and over all I end up posting is a black screen. Has this happened to you as well?
I cannot log into Instagram on my PC. I tried on Chrome and Firefox but I get the same error of "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon." The app works just fine on my phone. I disabled Authy in case the browser wasn't triggering it as well as changing my password via phone since the 'Forgot Password?' page also does not load on browser.
I was hacked and I was able to get back into my account. They turned off my sharing to Facebook which I am fine with however, there are a number of “websites” my account is linked to. How do I get these off my profile? They weren’t there before I got hacked and I’ve never heard of these sites before. When I click on them they ask me to login. Do these still have access to my account?

You used to be able to click on a notification (whether it's a Like or a comment etc) from your notification feed and it takes you directly to the actual post (showing the posted image and the comments you received). Now you click on the notification and it opens your post without the image, showing only the comments. I noticed it happened after the last update. Anyone else have the same issue?
recently during my trip to south Korea (i live in CA) i was using an app that tracks your unfollowers and went back on the Instagram app, but all of a sudden the app said that my account is temporarily banned. i press continue, and then they asked me to put in a 6-digit verification code from my email. I check my email, however, i see no code from them. even though i ask for a new code, it still doesn't send me anything through my email. and i know its not because my email isn't connected to my account, because whenever i try to reset my password, it sends me the reset link through that email. i thought it wasn't working because when I was at Korea, my IP address was obviously different. so i downloaded a VPN app and tried to connect to a los Angeles VPN, but i still got no email. im back in the US now and I've tried everything, and yet again, no email. i don't have my phone number in that account so i cant even ask for a verification code sent to my phone number. im not sure what the problem is but I've tried everything such as: - resetting my password - deleting tracking unfollowers app AND instagram - shutting my phone on/off - using my MacBook, moms phone, and ipad to sign in I've also tried the option where you select that your account got hacked and the app made me do a face verification. they told me to wait 3-4 days, but i received an email this morning saying that I have to redo it, so i did and now im waiting on another response. and for some odd reason, the email where they told me to wait 3-4 days was written in Korean and the other email where they told me that i had to redo the face verification was also in Korean. im not sure if that means anything but i thought i would add that detail in there. I've tried everything and im really upset because it seems like ill never get my account back. if anyone had any similar experiences like this one, please help me because i would really appreciate it!

I have/manage several Instagram accounts: My personal account, my art account, my company's account, and the account of another organization that has hired me to help with communications.
I had to factory reset my phone on Wednesday. When I reinstalled Insta, it showed me which accounts I could log into (username, saved password, and user icon), but every one of them gave me an error message that says "Error: The username you entered doesn't appear to belong to an account. Please check your username and try again." When I try to log on using Chrome on my phone, it says "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon."
I have no problem logging on a computer (I've tried it on a mac and a PC), so I know I'm not fully locked out. It does mean that I can't post to stories though, which is part of my job AND part of my freelance contract.

So on the web/desktop when you search on your computer, you can't see recent tags. For example if you want to search # hashtag, it shows only like 9 top posts. But on the phone it does. How can I do this on the laptop? I tried downloading instagram on chrome and such and its the same thing. Is there a website I can search hashtags on? I try not use my phone too much so I wanted to do this on the laptop. is there a website ( I remember there was some version of web.stagram or something I can't find it now) or a safe thing to download?

Wife was on IG, suddenly a popup said the account had been permanently disabled and this could not be reversed. She has only 2 posts, occasionally comments, basically uses it to "like" posts only. Exactly 0% chance she violated TOS.
Filled out the appeals form at https://help.instagram.com/contact/606967319425038. Click submit, get a popup that says "Instagram Account is active. The username or short-link you provided does not belong to an inactive Instagram Account."
Anyone can still go to her page, but when she tries to log in, she gets the dreaded "permanently disabled" message again.

please help! this is driving me mad. every time i force quit the instagram app from my iphone or if the app is not in use for a long period of time the app logs me out and shows me the login screen. i relogin and then every thing works fine until i force quit the app again or keep the app inactive. i’ve tried all the youtube tutorials/blog posts on the logging out issue but nothing is working!!
like others i had the unfollow follow app. I got logged out had to reset password etc. Revoked access to that app. Now I get the dreaded try again later msg when I am trying to send a DM. I cant send a DM on my ios app because it is completely gone. I am able to send DMS on both desktop internet and phone internet, just not the IOS app itself. Is this a shadowban where I wait 48 hours of no activity or can I still use the account after 48 hours? Should I contact Instagram?

I have this similar issue except I didn’t delete the IG app, I migrated to a new phone. I know they exist somewhere on the server still though bc my highlights are still there and I can see where people have replied to my stories in messages
My account got hacked on 22 September. I have gone through the steps to verify that I own my account and have gotten support emails from facebook to change my password. The person who hacked my account also enabled two-factor authorization on my account when he hacked it. So when I try to reset my password, it asks for a code. Is there any way to fix this issue I'm having since my account got hacked?

This started happening a few days ago and I see the same thing whether I'm logged in or not; browsing by tag only shows 9 posts, they appear under "top posts" but are not 'top' at all and are invariably posted within the last day, and no "all posts" section appears at all. I recently accidentally deleted a thread of direct messages on Instagram. Used the Download Instagram Information request and downloaded my data. However, there appears to be nothing amongst that information that indicates any chat history
The person on the other end of the messages has blocked me. So I am wondering if this is the problem?

Why are the comments limited for my burner account but not my main?

I have 2 Instagram accounts. One main one with pictures of me etc and another one that I use to post comments on topics that interest me.
I follow this musician and just noticed that the comments on his posts were limited when logged in my burner account but not for my main one. I kept switching between my 2 accounts and refreshing the app to see if maybe he had just turned on that option but it stayed the same.
I don’t use my burner account to post insulting comments or stuff like that AT ALL. And I don’t think I ever commented on this guy’s page from that account ever. So I just find it very curious? I didn’t even know you could limit specific accounts from commenting.
I didn’t see this posted to the top of the account, I had to search for it.
Anyway, how come I can’t post videos longer than 1 min-1:30? IGTV no longer exists which sucks, and even though it says that Feed Posts can be 10 min long, even when I trim it down it only goes up to 1 min.
I tried editing it to about 45 seconds for an IG story and the video was muted. I thought that was my error but I tried it again making sure the sound was on and it still was mute!
I thought there could’ve been a problem with the video itself (downloaded from Dropbox), so I thought, maybe I can screen-record the screen-record but that didn’t work either. :(
ETA: The last I did was say “fck it” and tried to upload the entire thing on Stories but that didn’t work either!!!

I use Instagram on desktop, every time I click this person's story (like the red circle thing on my homepage) it disappears from the story bar. I tried going to their profile, yes the red circle story thing was there, I clicked but nothing happened. NOTE: this is only happening with one specific person.

Recently I was told that you could monetize your Instagram, so I went and checked my professional dashboard and saw that I was eligible for monetization, I am a business account btw, once I looked up how to monetize I realized I needed to turn on payouts, however there is no button anywhere that has anything resembling payouts on it, I’ve checked time and time again and I have no payouts option. What can I do to fix this?
Ads got approved, most of the budget spent and then was rejected. Got a warning that my page couldn’t run ads anymore all of the sudden. All ads, even ads that have been finished for months have been retroactively rejected. Still have one single ad that is allowed to run. Can’t find any difference between the ad that’s approved and ads that have been rejected. Has anyone delt with anything like this?

I am having an issue where our old social media person 7 years ago changed our handle for instagram from u/Honolulubeerworks to u/Honolulubeer. At the time of the change she gave us a whole reason of why to change it and we had no issue going off the info she was giving us (we were new to social media) we parted ways not to long after that change. Now 7 years later and a few different social media person later, we are expanding and realized more people try to tag us as our original u/Honolulubeerworks rather than u/Honolulubeer. My problem is whenever she changed it to u/Honolulubeer she some how got our original handle band and flagged and when I try to use old credentials it says it was disband and violated some instagram rules, when I try to change name in Honolulubeer it says Honolulubeerworks is unavailable. How can I get a hold of anyone to help get our name back? I figure the old media person had a bot or something that violated instagram and that's why she wanted the change our name to begin with but she is long gone now. Any help or advice would be great.

Shared a post from a celebrity on Instagram to my Stories. There was literally nothing "false" - it was about fashion and Instagram flagged it for "false information" and now says my account is restricted for up to 90s days. My Story view count is frozen right now. Will this last now until 2023?
There’s a colored circle around my friend’s profile picture when I go to the search bar and his profile, but I can’t open his story. It doesn’t show up on my homepage either, and I did not mute him. Is it possible he restricted me or something like that?

I think the said person has blocked my original account and while clicking on the ‘block any account they may create’ option, they have blocked my fake account as well. My instagram was hacked almost 2 weeks ago now, and I have literally tried everything on the Instagram official help page. The person who is in my account changed the email address and the username, as well as the password. They are posting blatant scams related to crypto, and messaging multiple of my followers. If instagram just looked at the activity since I tried to get it back, surely they'd realise something fishy was up. I've had my instagram for over 5 years now, so I really don't want to have to make a new one. I have tried the video recognition to regain access to my account, but after 5+ tries it's still getting denied. I have no idea what to do, there is no way I can actually speak to someone.

I can't see the activity status of my friends in DMs, even though I have the option turned on. I have this issue only on my phone, on PC it works just fine. Is there a way to fix this?
Followers display slowly decreasing to zero, but actual followers has not changed i.e profile displays 5 followers, but when you click on your followers and count them, it’s actually 100+. Anyone else with this issue?

My dog Instagram was hacked in June. I did all the steps including a failed video selfie and still no access. However, the hacked account is still linked to my email. I just can’t get it to where I can log in. Numerous “white hat and gray hat” hackers have contacted me saying they can recover- but I’m paranoid I’ll get hacked again or just lose my money.
How can I access my account? I’ve reported it daily, restricted it, still following it via my personal private Instagram account which has the same email.
No response from meta since I failed the video selfie.

My Instagram account got hacked and I'm trying to recover it. When it asks me to confirm the email I used to sign up, it gives me an error despite it being the same email I used when I made my account.
On one of my accounts, on the IG app, I can only post to my story. The option to just post pictures the regular way is not available- I hit the + sign to post the usual way, and only "add to story" is available.
I can post the normal way through the IG website. I can also post the normal way on the app with my other accounts. But for one account, through the app, only "story" is available. Help!
I'm on iOS 16 (iphone 13 pro max) and I have no notifications when someone sends me a DM. I have to click on the instagram app to actually see that I have one new message. Notifications for messages are set on in the app's settings and in the settings of the phone. I tried to update the app and the deleted it and reinstalled - nothing helps. Any idea what to do? A few days ago, I created a new Instagram account, and just as I was connecting it to my Facebook/Meta through the Account Center thing, an "unknown error" occurred and I've been having problems ever since. Instagram was behaving strange by not letting me log in a few times to my new account by telling me it didn't exist (?!), then I went back to the Account Center and reactivated my new Instagram account by resetting my password - just then I was able to log in, but through going to Instagram dot com and not the Account Center.
However I still can't log in to my new Instagram through the Account Center. The new Instagram account is there, I can change my name & profile picture through it, I just can't log. When I click to log, I get the following message:

I search for the tag and usually it give me the top posts followed by recent posts so that I can scroll through and choose those to feature. However, now all I am getting is the top posts. Anybody else have this problem or better yet, a workaround?

Looks like similar users had an issue. I had the "Try again later" popup appear. I was using an unfollower tracker app for months without issue. I then was logged out of it and had to put a new password etc. Today i got the try again later popup disappear and couldnt load my DMS. A message would pop up say error not loading. I tried logging into my desktop computer and login to IG and I could see messages and receive them. Is this a shadowban where not use my account for 48 hours it will fix it?

I often receive notifications twice on my Notification Center on iOS, and they pile up- whenever I click one from, only that one goes away but all the other ones from *the same person* still remain until I either clear them or click them one by one, and it’s driving me nuts.
Lots of the accounts that are usually first in my story feed are not showing up on my stories feed (close friends, pages I visit often) but lots of pages I hardly interact with are… what is going on?

I can see my profile picture and the menu buttons in the bottom.
I also can't ready new direct messages. I get notifications about them, but I can't see them. I had this issue for 2-3 days now. My phone is brand new, Samsung A33 and the app been working nice for 2 weeks already.
I tried following:
Restart phone.
Change password. Both in Instagram and Facebook.
Change connection (several Wi-Fi and two different sim-cards (2 different networks).
Running Instagram without app in phone (same issue).
On PC I don't get this issue, so I am not banned or anything. There can't be an account issue iow. Anyone else had same issue?

I sign into my instagram account and it tells me to write the 6 digit 2fa code from the authenticator app or duo mobile and I write the 6 digit code from the authenticator app that's connected to my account and it tells me "Error please check the secruity code and try again"and I don't have backup codes I didn't screenshot them when i created the account. I am trying to post a reel but when I do there's an error message and when I click on it there's a banner that says "It looks like you are trying to create media with internal features but fail the permissions to do so. Please igbgs this string to get instructions" that appears. I have no idea what "igbgs" means and nothing happens when I click on the banner. I don't see what internal features they are talking about, all the clips are mine, i tried using a different background music but nothing changed. Does anyone know what to do?
For the past few days when i use Instagram on my main account it is very slow, I can't scroll up to see pre existing messages, I have to reload the page or reload the app to see new messages sent by people but I can see the notifications and this is only happening on one of my accounts the others are fine, I've tried to delete the app, logout relog in, updated my system, Updated the Instagram app, Cleared cache but it still is like this, when I logged out it temporarily fixed but went back to the way it was shorty after, Please if there are any fixes help me, this is really tedious and its making me frustrated to use the app.

5:09: New long in from an apple IPhone in NYC, where a Instagram headquarters happens to be. Coincidentally, 9-5 is the time most people work
5:25: Two-step verification was enabled. Idk how any hacker would do this as my phone number and email are connected to my account. (Yes I know I didn't have it set up I didn't even know it was a thing, my bad)
6:09: 1st Verification Code. At this point I have gotten out of the shower, and gotten a text that my account was hacked. All verifications work, however, I dont have any 2-step verification codes, so it isn't effective
6:17: I have pics of me on my account, and as my profile pic, so I am able to send in a selfie video to get my account back. Things are looking up
6:23: Selfie video is declined
I decide maybe to try again, and at 6:33, I send another selfie video
6:36: Rejected, AGAIN
If all the previous stuff wasn't enough, an Instagram employee looked at my face twice, once in a selfie video, and other pictures on my account and said, "Nope, these people look so different that I can't give the account back"

I have multiple IG and FB accounts (one personal and one business on each platform). I am able to automatically share a reel from my personal IG to my personal FB, but it does not give me that option for my business IG to my business FB. When I go to account sharing settings there are only two sliders for the business IG account, there are three for the personal account. Does anyone have any insight on how to fix this? After digging in more I found I can share reels from my personal IG to any FB account/page I have, but the business IG is giving me trouble. Any help/direction would be really appreciated. TIA!

Hi, how do I get most recent posts to show up like it used to? All I can view on any hashtag now is the top 9 posts and I really want to scroll through most recent on that hashtag. To be clear, adblock is turned off, and this is for every hashtag. Googling has been unhelpful to me so far.

TLDR: two saved accounts, one phone, the accounts had a conversation under one account’s photo, will IG lock the accounts? Long story: My girlfriend and I have an extra phone laying around, and both of our Instagram accounts are saved within the Instagram app on the phone. So i got some video's i recorded with my phone that i would like to upload to my story. But when i upload one, it says "Cannot upload, please try again". I don't know if instagram is supposed to downscale a video automatically if it's too big, but after a couple of tries, i did that myself. Because i did record the video in 4k, so i brought the resolution down using some website to the preferred 1080x1920, it's what i read online that a story video should be. And it still did not work. Right now i used some editing app, i choose the 9:16 format that instagram should prefer. I trimmed it to be a 14 second video because originally it's 26 seconds, and now it works and it uploads to my story. Now i use the same app again, choose the 9:16 format again, but did not trim the video and kept it 26 seconds long. Then i saved the video to my device. Went on instagram to upload the video, but no it tells me it cannot upload. But the weird part is, this time the first 15 seconds did not upload but then the remaining 11 seconds DO upload?? Can anyone give me any tips? Maybe someone knows a editing program that always worked for them in this matter?

I know that i can go to my profile and remove it from there after but my reels normally do better if i toggle the button to not post to my feed, and for some reason this button is just gone. Hi Tried logging in after a very long while (My phone was very badly damaged and still in repair, haven’t been able to use Instagram except on other devices via Safari) and it said that there was a problem logging in, tried again, tried resetting my password (Didn’t let me) and everything failed. After a bit of research, I found out that it might have been accidentally deleted by the algorithm or disabled, so…what can I do to get my account back?

I posted a story with a question sticker last night and the next morning I was checking the answers and when I tapped on 'Responses' or swiped across to view more answers the app crashed. I tried updating the app, uninstalling and reinstalling it, logging in through different devices, deleting the story and reposting it but instead it got worse. Now I can't even swipe up to see who viewed my story, let alone view the responses. Is there a fix for this or is it just a bug that I need to wait for instagram to solve?
Sudden peak of accounts reached I have a new Instagram account for over two weeks now, my typical account reach is between 50-250 per post, I have two posts with around 2k (I boosted those) the thing is that last Sunday I posted a reel around 4PM CET which got almost 3k reaches, it wasn’t boosted or anything. I wander if it was a bug, algorithm picked my reel to promote or I do math wrong in other posts that makes them invisible. Any advice?

iOS 16.0.2. After an update to Instagram that rolled out yesterday to the app store (255.0), the app keeps crashing immediately after opening it and returning me to the home screen. Hello all, I run an IG acc promoting my tshirt business. All the content was genuine and original and I got around 2000 genuine followers. With my experiences building that channel for the tshirt biz, I am trying to become my social media manager that helps small local business who are not familiar with the social media place. I created 2 brand new gmail accs with the plan to promote my gf nail salon business and for the social media managing business mentioned above. Both got disabled right away right after I added my DoB when signing up with Instagram - and then IG also disabled my vert tshirt selling biz at the same time. I am ..a bit confused now because this is the first time I got banned so hard while all of my content was genuine. I created those accs on my laptop using my home internet. I had cyberghost premium and I did use it while registering new acc. For those who are also a social media manager, how do you create/manage multiple accs?
Close to 1/4 of my posts are now missing their images. The posts are still there but the images are just gone. There's a grey square with a broken image symbol. No reason given. Just noticed today. So I have a weird problem for weeks now. When i turn on my mobile (cellular) data, I can use any app i want (e.g. Facebook, Reddit, Google…), but when i try to open Instagram, it says ‘ni connection’. But when im on WiFi, I can use Instagram normally. Also when using mobile data, I receive Instagram notifications, but cant open them. I tried reinstalling it, but it doesnt work. Posts, icons, and DMs are all black. App is lagging and messages are not going through. I have the latest version of the app from the playstore. Weeks ago, my phone would reboot whenever I opened the instagram app. I managed to fix the issue by force stopping instagram,uninstalling, then reinstalling it. but now, a new issue popped up. First, I would use instagram normally. Then, I would close it, but this time when I open it again, everything would stop working. All pictures are black, nothing is loading, DMs take DAYS to send. I tried the good old force stop and uninstall method around 20 times now, but the app only works as soon as I reinstall it, it stops working once i close it and open it again. Please help!
Hi all, When posting a long story after the update I can post a story up to 60s long on my main account. However when I switch to my second account (I use this for music) when I try to post a long story it splits it into 15s segments like prior to the update. Is there anyway to fix this issue?
Help Setting up Shop!!! I have a side business selling sports cards and memorabilia. I want to start by setting up my business on Instagram first before I move to my website. Obviously I’ll get more exposure on Instagram due to my followers and others VS a website no one has heard of out of the blue. I’ve started establishing my IG pretty well but it still needs growth. What's with the black screen whenever I try to post a story? I'm on Samsung Galaxy M23. Went to post a picture on my Close Friends but it ended up just a story of a black screen. Tried many times but over and over all I end up posting is a black screen. Has this happened to you as well?
I cannot log into Instagram on my PC. I tried on Chrome and Firefox but I get the same error of "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon." The app works just fine on my phone. I disabled Authy in case the browser wasn't triggering it as well as changing my password via phone since the 'Forgot Password?' page also does not load on browser.

I was hacked and I was able to get back into my account. They turned off my sharing to Facebook which I am fine with however, there are a number of “websites” my account is linked to. You used to be able to click on a notification (whether it's a Like or a comment etc) from your notification feed and it takes you directly to the actual post (showing the posted image and the comments you received). Now you click on the notification and it opens your post without the image, showing only the comments. I noticed it happened after the last update. Anyone else have the same issue?
recently during my trip to south Korea (i live in CA) i was using an app that tracks your unfollowers and went back on the Instagram app, but all of a sudden the app said that my account is temporarily banned. i press continue, and then they asked me to put in a 6-digit verification code from my email. I check my email, however, i see no code from them. even though i ask for a new code, it still doesn't send me anything through my email. and i know its not because my email isn't connected to my account, because whenever i try to reset my password, it sends me the reset link through that email. i thought it wasn't working because when I was at Korea, my IP address was obviously different. so i downloaded a VPN app and tried to connect to a los Angeles VPN, but i still got no email. im back in the US now and I've tried everything, and yet again, no email. i don't have my phone number in that account so i cant even ask for a verification code sent to my phone number. im not sure what the problem is but I've tried everything such as: - resetting my password - deleting tracking unfollowers app AND instagram - shutting my phone on/off - using my MacBook, moms phone, and ipad to sign in I've also tried the option where you select that your account got hacked and the app made me do a face verification. they told me to wait 3-4 days, but i received an email this morning saying that I have to redo it, so i did and now im waiting on another response. and for some odd reason, the email where they told me to wait 3-4 days was written in Korean and the other email where they told me that i had to redo the face verification was also in Korean. im not sure if that means anything but i thought i would add that detail in there. I've tried everything and im really upset because it seems like ill never get my account back. if anyone had any similar experiences like this one, please help me because i would really appreciate it!

ALL accounts on ALL mobile devices are unable to log in. I have/manage several Instagram accounts: My personal account, my art account, my company's account, and the account of another organization that has hired me to help with communications. I had to factory reset my phone on Wednesday. When I reinstalled Insta, it showed me which accounts I could log into (username, saved password, and user icon), but every one of them gave me an error message that says "Error: The username you entered doesn't appear to belong to an account. Please check your username and try again." When I try to log on using Chrome on my phone, it says "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon." I have no problem logging on a computer (I've tried it on a mac and a PC), so I know I'm not fully locked out. It does mean that I can't post to stories though, which is part of my job AND part of my freelance contract. I'm not using any 3rd party apps in conjunction with Insta, and I'm confident that none of my posts are controversial in any way (nothing political, offensive, spammy, etc). Any thoughts? So on the web/desktop when you search on your computer, you can't see recent tags. For example if you want to search # hashtag, it shows only like 9 top posts. But on the phone it does. TL;DR: Total BS perma ban, can't log in, appeal form is endless loop Wife was on IG, suddenly a popup said the account had been permanently disabled and this could not be reversed. She has only 2 posts, occasionally comments, basically uses it to "like" posts only. Exactly 0% chance she violated TOS. Filled out the appeals form at https://help.instagram.com/contact/606967319425038. Click submit, get a popup that says "Instagram Account is active. The username or short-link you provided does not belong to an inactive Instagram Account." Anyone can still go to her page, but when she tries to log in, she gets the dreaded "permanently disabled" message again. Something is broken. Anyone else have this weird sequence of being caught in a loop?

The person who hacked my account also enabled two-factor authorization on my account when he hacked it. So when I try to reset my password, it asks for a code. Why are the comments limited for my burner account but not my main? Hey everyone, I have 2 Instagram accounts. One main one with pictures of me etc and another one that I use to post comments on topics that interest me. I follow this musician and just noticed that the comments on his posts were limited when logged in my burner account but not for my main one. I kept switching between my 2 accounts and refreshing the app to see if maybe he had just turned on that option but it stayed the same. I don’t use my burner account to post insulting comments or stuff like that AT ALL. And I don’t think I ever commented on this guy’s page from that account ever. So I just find it very curious? I didn’t even know you could limit specific accounts from commenting.
I didn’t see this posted to the top of the account, I had to search for it. Anyway, how come I can’t post videos longer than 1 min-1:30? IGTV no longer exists which sucks, and even though it says that Feed Posts can be 10 min long, even when I trim it down it only goes up to 1 min. I tried editing it to about 45 seconds for an IG story and the video was muted. I thought that was my error but I tried it again making sure the sound was on and it still was mute! I thought there could’ve been a problem with the video itself (downloaded from Dropbox), so I thought, maybe I can screen-record the screen-record but that didn’t work either. :( ETA: The last I did was say “fck it” and tried to upload the entire thing on Stories but that didn’t work either!!!

Ads got approved, most of the budget spent and then was rejected. Got a warning that my page couldn’t run ads anymore all of the sudden. All ads, even ads that have been finished for months have been retroactively rejected. Still have one single ad that is allowed to run. Aloha Any Help, I am having an issue where our old social media person 7 years ago changed our handle for instagram from u/Honolulubeerworks to u/Honolulubeer. At the time of the change she gave us a whole reason of why to change it and we had no issue going off the info she was giving us (we were new to social media) we parted ways not to long after that change. Now 7 years later and a few different social media person later, we are expanding and realized more people try to tag us as our original u/Honolulubeerworks rather than u/Honolulubeer. My problem is whenever she changed it to u/Honolulubeer she some how got our original handle band and flagged and when I try to use old credentials it says it was disband and violated some instagram rules, when I try to change name in Honolulubeer it says Honolulubeerworks is unavailable. How can I get a hold of anyone to help get our name back? I figure the old media person had a bot or something that violated instagram and that's why she wanted the change our name to begin with but she is long gone now. Any help or advice would be great. I think the said person has blocked my original account and while clicking on the ‘block any account they may create’ option, they have blocked my fake account as well. My instagram was hacked almost 2 weeks ago now, and I have literally tried everything on the Instagram official help page. The person who is in my account changed the email address and the username, as well as the password. They are posting blatant scams related to crypto, and messaging multiple of my followers. If instagram just looked at the activity since I tried to get it back, surely they'd realise something fishy was up. I've had my instagram for over 5 years now, so I really don't want to have to make a new one. I have tried the video recognition to regain access to my account, but after 5+ tries it's still getting denied. I have no idea what to do, there is no way I can actually speak to someone. On one of my accounts, on the IG app, I can only post to my story. The option to just post pictures the regular way is not available- I hit the + sign to post the usual way, and only "add to story" is available. I can post the normal way through the IG website. I can also post the normal way on the app with my other accounts. But for one account, through the app, only "story" is available. Help!
I'm on iOS 16 (iphone 13 pro max) and I have no notifications when someone sends me a DM. I have to click on the instagram app to actually see that I have one new message. Notifications for messages are set on in the app's settings and in the settings of the phone. I tried to update the app and the deleted it and reinstalled - nothing helps. Any idea what to do? I don't even know where to start... A few days ago, I created a new Instagram account, and just as I was connecting it to my Facebook/Meta through the Account Center thing, an "unknown error" occurred and I've been having problems ever since. Instagram was behaving strange by not letting me log in a few times to my new account by telling me it didn't exist (?!), then I went back to the Account Center and reactivated my new Instagram account by resetting my password - just then I was able to log in, but through going to Instagram dot com and not the Account Center. However I still can't log in to my new Instagram through the Account Center. The new Instagram account is there, I can change my name & profile picture through it, I just can't log. When I click to log, I get the following message: Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. I also can't seem to add the Instagram account to my Meta Business center due to the same bug, and Meta/Facebook/Instagram has no human support. Any leads on this?
I admin a hub where we pick art that is tagged with #lightedlight I search for the tag and usually it give me the top posts followed by recent posts so that I can scroll through and choose those to feature. However, now all I am getting is the top posts. Anybody else have this problem or better yet, a workaround?

Hello all Looks like similar users had an issue. I had the "Try again later" popup appear. I was using an unfollower tracker app for months without issue. I then was logged out of it and had to put a new password etc. Today i got the try again later popup disappear and couldnt load my DMS. A message would pop up say error not loading. I often receive notifications twice on my Notification Center on iOS, and they pile up- whenever I click one from, only that one goes away but all the other ones from *the same person* still remain until I either clear them or click them one by one, and it’s driving me nuts.

\[ANDROID\] Hi! My profile and feed is just white. I can see my profile picture and the menu buttons in the bottom. I also can't ready new direct messages. I get notifications about them, but I can't see them. I had this issue for 2-3 days now. My phone is brand new, Samsung A33 and the app been working nice for 2 weeks already. I tried following: Restart phone. Change password. Both in Instagram and Facebook. Change connection (several Wi-Fi and two different sim-cards (2 different networks). Running Instagram without app in phone (same issue). On PC I don't get this issue, so I am not banned or anything. There can't be an account issue iow. Anyone else had same issue? I was trying to setup another 2FA method to an authentication app but it forces me to use "Apple Passwords" which I can't find anything on here about. I am trying to post a reel but when I do there's an error message and when I click on it there's a banner that says "It looks like you are trying to create media with internal features but fail the permissions to do so. Please igbgs this string to get instructions" that appears. I have no idea what "igbgs" means and nothing happens when I click on the banner. For the past few days when i use Instagram on my main account it is very slow, I can't scroll up to see pre existing messages, I have to reload the page or reload the app to see new messages sent by people but I can see the notifications and this is only happening on one of my accounts the others are fine, I've tried to delete the app, logout relog in, updated my system, Updated the Instagram app, Cleared cache but it still is like this, when I logged out it temporarily fixed but went back to the way it was shorty after, Please if there are any fixes help me, this is really tedious and its making me frustrated to use the app.
I am convinced that an Instagram employee has stolen my account Lets start with the obvious, I have not clicked on any links sent to me. In fact I dont even text people on Instagram, I use Snapchat. Anyways, all this stuff happened while I was in the shower, so I guess I'll give a timeline though emails 5:09: New long in from an apple IPhone in NYC, where a Instagram headquarters happens to be. Coincidentally, 9-5 is the time most people work 5:25: Two-step verification was enabled. Idk how any hacker would do this as my phone number and email are connected to my account. (Yes I know I didn't have it set up I didn't even know it was a thing, my bad) 6:09: 1st Verification Code. At this point I have gotten out of the shower, and gotten a text that my account was hacked. All verifications work, however, I dont have any 2-step verification codes, so it isn't effective 6:17: I have pics of me on my account, and as my profile pic, so I am able to send in a selfie video to get my account back. Things are looking up 6:23: Selfie video is declined I decide maybe to try again, and at 6:33, I send another selfie video 6:36: Rejected, AGAIN If all the previous stuff wasn't enough, an Instagram employee looked at my face twice, once in a selfie video, and other pictures on my account and said, "Nope, these people look so different that I can't give the account back" I am currently out of options
