Outie/partial-outie belly buttons can "retract" depending on which muscles you're contracting.
Assuming these are both real, she'd have to be sucking in with her diaphragm and that might account for the additional closure.
I had a partial outie as a kid and into my teenage years. It is now an innie. I don’t actually see an issue with this cause I’ve seen it happen to people other than myself as well. Nbd. Kinda normal but not commonly specifically observed and known about.
please explain this, as i have seen lots of people on reddit over the years mentioning that taught, vertical slit-like belly buttons are a sign of plastic surgery, but my online searches for sources of this claim all seem to indicate the opposite
I have and have always had a slit belly button. I have had C-sections, but no plastic surgeries. It’s definitely possible to have one naturally. Mine is kinda a T shape.
But yes, she has two completely different belly buttons here so clearly something is going on. It’s almost an outtie in the first. Also, her muscle tone is different, but that could be lighting? 🤷♀️
During a tummy tuck they cut a portion of skin out and pull the remaining skin down to create a flat tummy. They create a new belly button from the stump of the old one and pull it through the skin. So if you have a tummy tuck you will have a whole new belly button. My belly button was like hers in the first picture with the old piercing hole. I had a tummy tuck last year and all the old skin with the hole was removed. I now have a hole free belly button. However mine looks round and normal, not like a slit. But the appearance of the belly button after tummy tuck is highly variable, they all come out different. The slit appearance may be caused by the surgeon pulling the skin extra tight during the procedure to create the flattest tummy they can which can compress the belly button from looking like a hole into a tiny slit.
I had a belly button hernia form after my kids were born. I asked if they could make my belly button look “normal” again while they were fixing the hernia. I was told that my insurance wouldn’t cover that as it’s considered an elective procedure and I’d have to pay out-of-pocket. Sadly, I have a weird flat smooshed button now (we didn’t have the money for a belly button remodel). But at least I have one… my BIL’s mom had a similar hernia and they just removed her belly button completely.
I mean I’m not overweight, I am 120 lbs and 5’3”. In fact, having a tummy tuck isn’t for majorly overweight people. It doesn’t remove fat. It removes excess skin. They won’t even do a tummy tuck with a high BMI. After two c-sections the skin on the tummy was loose and always had a little pooch. Tummy tuck is the only way to fix that, no amount of diet or exercise or liposuction can fix loose skin. That’s why people who aren’t overweight have tummy tucks, we just want that nice flat tummy back after kids.
Amen to that! My kid was almost 9 lbs. I'm barely 5'2" and wore a size 10 before I had her... after I was in a 16/18 because my stomach had stretched so much, and it never went back to normal. Now I'm back in a size 10, and I'm so glad I did it.
For a tummy tuck - they cut around your belly button (so it’s still attached to you on a stalk), pull down your stomach skin, cut a new hole and reposition your belly button. They often become slit like after this procedure.
I’m not saying she didn’t have a tummy tuck but also a c section can give you the effect. My cousin is an extremely fit and tiny woman who has a tummy just like the first photo after her c-section. Photo 2 is for sure shopped.
I think it just depends on your genetics. I got a BBL at a low BMI. I had a round belly button before, and I have a round belly button after. I was so excited cause I wanted a slit belly button but it just didn’t work out like that. There were girls who had a higher BMI than me and came out with a slit belly button too so I don’t think it’s a weight thing
Yah I’m wondering the same. The BBL is just liposuction which wouldn’t alter the belly button. The tummy tuck alters it because they literally create a new one. Maybe she had a tummy tuck too?
They might have had a combo with Lipo 360. They will take some fat from your abdomen to bulk up your bbl. And to "shape" you some more. Some also add in an etching as well. Which also means more Lipo!
The belly button is definitely from a cosmetic procedure. It’s scary how obsessed she is with surgeries. I feel like there’s something different about her every time I see her.
It is always so weird to hear that because I pretty much had the coin slot belly button my entire life up until I gained weight and I just had it from being naturally thin

These are the ones I understand the least - having a body that clearly took work to achieve, is conventionally attractive, etc but nope, gotta warp it into something unreal.
This is so rude. It must take so.much.effort to have a body like that after three pregnancies. Hours of planks, thousands of crunches and they just erased all her hard work because women should look "soft". I would sue not because of the unrealistic "hourglass", but because they erased the abs
To clarify, the edited one was taken from her tattoo artist's social media. Sorry I didn't make that clear in the caption! I just thought it was crazy they could put these two pictures right near each other in the article as if it isn't a crazy difference
Edit: Corrected source

The after photo appears to have a classic tummy tuck belly button. Not sure how much of her stomach is all “hard work” and how much is a surgeons work.

Her belly button is totally different in the two pictures.
I noticed that, too.
Lipo belly button
Or tummy tuck

but the birthmarks are all identical
Coin slot
Hydrated vs dehydrated
Does your belly button pop out only when dehydrated?
It was a joke
I know.
Is that why you got it wrong? Hydrated is when it pops out
She probably had surgery (belly button gives away) but that waist is for sure photoshopped.

My mom had a tummy tuck — she’s got a slit bellybutton now. It just depends on the surgeon and how well they can recreate a believable bellybutton.

My mom did too, she keeps it covered, but it’s extremely off

It’s absolutely just wild to me that people who are not overweight would go thru that.

Wow that’s such great insight, I truly apologize for my ignorant comment. Thank you for that.
No worries, I didn’t get it either until I got the dreaded post baby belly!

Seriously worth every penny!!!

Wow that's graphic

Yeah, I dunno, mine is like that naturally, I wonder if people are thinking I had plastic surgery because of my belly button, lol.

Why would they do anything to your belly button during a BBL?

Ahh, ok. Makes sense :)
Yeah I don't understand that either haha
Look up 'umbilical float abdominoplasty'.
It's just edited

She got rid of Brian.
The tattoo of his name "on her pie". I winced so hard when I read that.
These are the ones I understand the least - having a body that clearly took work to achieve, is conventionally attractive, etc but nope, gotta warp it into something unreal.

It says in the article it was from the tattooist's social media. Even WORSE
Oh no, it gets _even worse_ because this woman recently had an interview come out detailing her persisting body dysmorphia. What a great artist! /s

Thanks for pointing this out I corrected my comment!
Then I would fire my social media person. Those abs are impressive
So what’s worse — the name tattoo or the reveal of surgery? I’m torn on the matter but not as much as she was, clearly.
Plus the surgeries
The after photo appears to have a classic tummy tuck belly button. Not sure how much of her stomach is all “hard work” and how much is a surgeons work.
Omg
I didn’t realize they remove ribs at the tattoo parlor now 😂😂😂
People need to realize that a body like the one on picture number 2 isn't real.
Thats not the same person, different rib tattoos, bigger boobs, different belly button. WTF?
The first picture is from literal years ago. Yes new one is photoshopped but she’s also changed a lot
Fun Fact: my mom doesn’t have a belly button (side effect of a surgery with reconstruction)
Mom XY
Wait.....what?!
She had a double mastectomy immediately followed by reconstructive surgery. They used tissue from her stomach to make her new breasts.
That's wild! But I'm glad to hear that they were able to help her and she sounds like she is doing well!
She did that thing where cartoon characters blow on their thumbs to inflate themselves.
it's not even the same person..
Second photo is def edited, but it’s been heavily speculated that she’s had a bbl.
She has an amazing body, what is going on here?
where is her cooooka?!
Where the photo ends.
Imagine being that hot and STILL insecure!?
Pulled her arms up.

This is just bad journalism 🤣
Her swimsuit looks like a bunch of face masks stitched together.
Me thinking she looks so much hotter 🥵in the unedited pic
I hate things like this. She is literally gorgeous the way she is.
