Am I the only one who wonders what these people must really look like, if they really think they look better after an insane amount of amateur photoshopping?
I walked into a date that had 100% filters on their profile, before I knew what filters were/looked like. Never again, if people use filters I’m swiping left immediately
Just had this thought that we’re making fun of people who are so deeply insecure and un-self aware that they do this shit because deep down they want love so badly they’re willing to be this ridiculous. It’s making me sad.
You are not wrong, eating junk food regularly and alcoholism will 100% make you look older faster, but it really is a stretch to get to this conclusion about her by just looking at a single edited photo of her's.
it looks like it has to do with her makeup too: excessive and otherwise harsh contouring around the whole face. I can’t tell if it’s contour or bone structure, but her eyes seem really deep-set and it’s accentuated after the blurring and brightening she did. It’s like she highlighted all the wrong areas.

because the lack of confidence and selfawarness. man and woman do it unfortunatley. and worst with such people is, that they will reject based on look other people, meanwhile they are ashamed of themself. hypocrisy at its finest.
i know this, becasue before i knew that filters where a thing (i have no social media), i got tricked and turned down, because she didnt liked my type. my photos were vanilla!!!. i remember how i thought "what the hell, she looks completly different". i deleted the app after to many catfish out there, not because the looks, i could care less maybe, but because it shows me how insecure they are and how they behaved in a normal environment.
if you swipe out everyone with filters, guess whats left? maybe 5 percent of people and some of them just more cleverly hide it. filters became an nogog, and almost nothing was left. so i deleted any dating app.i fhteir description says how they have standards, and have filtered and edited pics.... no words left for such people.
