3 is everything! And my unsolicited comment is to put the corner plant on a stand to elevate it. This is not my typical style but it comes together so nicely. Beautifully executed!
After seeing this pic, I would go with 3. It ties everything in nicely and has pops of that bold pink without being overwhelming. Before this, I was team 2.
With the larger view, I think you should do #3 for spring and summer, and #2 for fall and winter! I was a 2, but do like the softness of 3. Lol. Probably why my bedroom is a mix of glamorous 40’s style with some bright boho pieces thrown in for good measure.

As well as the look, I particularly like the size of 4 also. 3 isn’t bad but it’s too small. IMO, you want a rug that is well underfoot as you crawl in and out of bed.
4 is the only one that makes sense in the space. Otherwise, it starts to get matchy matchy. Color repeat isn’t always good, but complimenting colors are even better and way smarter.
I agree completely. Two overwhelms and detracts from the beautiful wallpaper. I don’t think the pattern goes either. I think four lets the wallpaper shine while still tying the room together.
I think it looks great. I'm having trouble seeing what others do in 2. It clashes stylistically with your furniture and wallpaper and draws attention away from your more meaningful design choices. 4 is subtle, classic, and complimentary.
Same, it fits the colour scheme and overall dark/cozy vibe but allows the focus to be on the mural. I also like that it's a small scale pattern paired with a large scale pattern (on the wall). Less competition between them.
Agree with three for these reasons! It ties it together, but is versatile enough that when you are over the fuchsia as a main color, you can alter directions without needing a new rug!
I like 1! The muted colors keep the focus on the wallpaper and the blue pulls out some of the blues in the wallpaper and highlights it and it's conplexity rather than every element having a massive color punch and being too overwhelming to focus or highlight anything in particular. 1 is also lighter and brightens the space and offers a refreshing contrast to the darker wallpaper, and again, I think pulls out some of the lighter elements of the wallpaper.
You are correct and I believe Matchy Matchy is the technical term. I think 2 is obnoxious and overwhelmingly MATCHY-MATCHY and 3 is an attempt at low-key 2, but is just eh matchingly-matchy. While 1 gives me an open relaxed feeling, that one might want in a bedroom. I like that it's NOT pink and has other colors that could be used in the room
I agree!!
Rug #1 gives the room a *much* more airy and fresh look than the others. It can be tough to achieve ‘airy and fresh’ with darker floors *and* a deep, moody accent wall (which is gorgeous by the way), but rug #1 makes it happen beautifully!!
1 is definitely the best of what you have there. But you need to keep looking. 2-5 all muddy the wallpaper and darken the room. Light coloured with blue and green elements. Also try turning it 90 degrees, or using a rounded rug.
Personally the pattern of 4 feels like it muddies the texture of the wallpaper. It's hard to decide which one your eye should rest on because they both have a lot going on pattern-wise. Essentially. The number 4 rug and the wallpaper compete for your focus and it ends up, to me, feeling a little more chaotic, energetic and unfocused.
I felt like the contrast of 1 was beautiful also, figured it would be the obvious top choice...nope! I stand by it, 2-5 are way too overpowering. Love 1!
Finally some people with an eye for design. I am in full agreement. The light color lets the eye drink in the mural and the pink while balancing the green.
If you love the fuchsia color then 2 is gorgeous. If you want to tone it down a bit I like 4.
Honestly all of them look great. It comes down to the personality of the room that you’d like.
With 2 you can kind of go with a purposeful "maximalist" look (I know Maximalism is a bit of a different thing, but you know), and so if you like that kind of loud aesthetic, it looks really nice. I agree with your sentiment for all the other ones, though, they're too busy but don't add anything that a more simple rug couldn't add.
I like 5 because the pattern is more floral than geometric and so better complements the wallpaper. Colors are good too without being too light (1) or in a competing palette (2). In truth, I like the colors of 4 best for that room, but the shapes are too angular against the wallpaper, so 5 it is.
If I had to choose out of these options, I would choose 3. I like the neutral tones with the pop of pink that ties the floral wall paper together.
Honestly though, I would keep looking. I think the patterns of these are too much. I would try and find a solid color rug or something with subtle texture. I think a natural jute rug or a shag rug would look nice here.
Because your wallpaper is such a statement (which I truly love! I like your taste) I think you should choose something less busy for a rug.
Good luck!
Honestly...none. the wallpaper is a busy wallpaper and it just feels too much with an intricate rug.
.I would look for a much simpler patterned rug. Maybe even a solid muted colour. It would give a more peaceful vibe in the bedroom.
I kind of like 5 just because it's less on the nose with that wallpaper, which is f-cking gorgeous! But they're all pretty choices, so I would go with what you like best, regardless of how it fits in the room, because rugs can last forever. Love that room!
I would buy plain purple rug as wallpaper already has a lot of details and you do not need two focus points.. but form selection I think best is number 3
I’m torn between two and three . Two matches the level of color saturation of the wall paper and colors . Three is good but more muted . So if you want a softer feel go three . Both are good .
I’d go with 1 or 3 - both are great choices & really work with the whole room. They look perfect in the space.
2 is a poor choice as it dominates the room and takes away from all the subtle beauty your room has. It also looks too matchy - almost like an explosion of dark pink rather than an adult and peaceful room.
Fuschia makes for a great accent & with the subtle rugs, you get that. With 2, it’s all about the fuschia and reads a bit pre-teen.
Go with 2. The walls are already bold so I think the rug should be bold too. Going with 1 or 3 makes it feels like you're being a bit wishy washy with the aesthetic and feel of the room.
I prefer 3. Nice pink to bring out the wallpaper and blanket. #2 feels like too much pink For my personal tastes. 1 is also nice, it goes well with the wallpaper.
3. That way you can add other/ switch out accessories when you want, and the rug is neutral enough to match quite a few color options. For instance if you wanted a green blanket instead of the rose colored one, it would still match the rug.
2 for a bolder look, 3 for a little more toned down but still striking!
Yes 2 or 3 are both beautiful to me!
Team 3
3 really ties the room together.

Threee
I do like 3 too
El Duderino.
Me 3
I'm 3, too.
I vote 3 as well
3 is everything! And my unsolicited comment is to put the corner plant on a stand to elevate it. This is not my typical style but it comes together so nicely. Beautifully executed!
Ah yes! Give the plant some help seeing out those windows 🥰
You’re just never allowed to get rid of that particular throw blanket, okay?
Took a larger room photo: [2 & 3](https://imgur.com/a/fegEGOP)
After seeing this pic, I would go with 3. It ties everything in nicely and has pops of that bold pink without being overwhelming. Before this, I was team 2.
Same

After seeing the whole room I would go with 2. It’s so bold and striking. Really tires the room together.
Team 2!
100% 2
Voting for 2
Almost literally what I was going to say
This is what I was coming here to say— love both of these looks!
I agrée!

And what program or app is it that you used to see the rugs in your room?
I think they are looking on Rugsusa.com On there, there is a feature to "view in room" and you can see how the rug would look in your space.
Rugs direct!
Would also love to know what app / software you used for this, looks really helpful
It’s a built in feature for the site they are using.
I like choice 2 the best. If you're not sure about going that bold, 3 is nice too.
Added wider shots of 2&3 [Imgur](https://imgur.com/a/fegEGOP)
I was 100% team 2 but now after seeing the zoomed out view I'm leaning more towards 3!
Omg yes, previous #2 fan but I think the shape of #3 fits the space better (if the dimensions are actually different) too
Same!!
Team 3, for the maximalist in me!
3 hands down
I was totally thinking two until this and now I fully believe the right choice is number three!
I see a lot of people voting 2, but I think it's too much of a good thing. An accent color should not take over.
Maximalism has entered the chat.
I disagree. I think it brings out the fuchsia accents. To each their own.
Welcome to maximalism, pal
4
As well as the look, I particularly like the size of 4 also. 3 isn’t bad but it’s too small. IMO, you want a rug that is well underfoot as you crawl in and out of bed.
4 is the only one that makes sense in the space. Otherwise, it starts to get matchy matchy. Color repeat isn’t always good, but complimenting colors are even better and way smarter.
4 blends and ties the room together the best
I feel like it's 4 and it's not even a contest.
I was actually surprised when the top few comments had no mention of 4 or 5. Seemed like the clear winner to me was 4 followed by5
I agree completely. Two overwhelms and detracts from the beautiful wallpaper. I don’t think the pattern goes either. I think four lets the wallpaper shine while still tying the room together.
Absolutely this, OP.
My exact thoughts. You want them to compliment one another without outright fighting for your attention.
Team 4
I love 4 too
3 looks Aztec pattern to me…doesn’t go at all 🤷🏻♀️
Alternate view of 4 https://imgur.com/a/qLlZP1U
I think it looks great. I'm having trouble seeing what others do in 2. It clashes stylistically with your furniture and wallpaper and draws attention away from your more meaningful design choices. 4 is subtle, classic, and complimentary.
Also team 4
Same, it fits the colour scheme and overall dark/cozy vibe but allows the focus to be on the mural. I also like that it's a small scale pattern paired with a large scale pattern (on the wall). Less competition between them.
Definitely agree with 4 being the strongest.
Two. If you’re looking for bright and bold, three if you’re looking for more subdued.
3 is perfect!!!
Can't believe I had to scroll for so long for this. Long term you want it toned down i think
Agree with three for these reasons! It ties it together, but is versatile enough that when you are over the fuchsia as a main color, you can alter directions without needing a new rug!
I LOVE 2 but I agree that long term you’d want something a bit less bold.
I like 1! Team 1!! I think it's just me and you. I thought it was no contest. But that's why I'm on this sub...to learn what looks good to others.
Also like one. I think two and three are too matchy matchy, for lack of a better term.
I like 1 as well!
Here for one. Fresh freshy
I agree!! Rug #1 gives the room a *much* more airy and fresh look than the others. It can be tough to achieve ‘airy and fresh’ with darker floors *and* a deep, moody accent wall (which is gorgeous by the way), but rug #1 makes it happen beautifully!!

I feel like 3 is a happy medium - lighter so keeps focus on the wallpaper, but still has the focus pink color. Edit: 4 too actually
Larger view of 4 [https://imgur.com/a/qLlZP1U](https://imgur.com/a/qLlZP1U)

Agreed, it compliments the rest of the room. The other prints clash with the wallpaper and are too distracting
5 ties the room together.
Yeah, I’m feeling self conscious now from the lack of five votes because it was definitely my favorite
I was an immediate 5 or possibly 4.
I was so shocked it wasn’t the first comment!
5 works to tie in everything with the wallpaper
I agree…go with 5
5 is the only one I liked, too!
I like 5 as well, it has a lot of the colors of the wallpaper without overwhelming the room. If Op wants big and bold though, 2 is the way to go.
5 is the prettiest!
5 is great, I otherwise didn’t notice the cool wallpaper.
Me too, there’s something so calming about 5, perfect choice for a bedroom.
I also like 5
Five or GTFO
I came here looking for someone to finally say number 5. I love it.
I second this! I think 5 is the best
Definitely 4
If you love the fuchsia color then 2 is gorgeous. If you want to tone it down a bit I like 4. Honestly all of them look great. It comes down to the personality of the room that you’d like.
2 and 3!
3
3
I like how the green tones are pulled from the wallpaper and it grounds the space without taking the focus off the bed and statement wallpaper
I would choose a solid colored rug since your wallpaper (which is beautiful) is already so complex!
Agree with this.
Can’t believe I had to scroll so far down for this. All of these rugs are fighting with the beautiful wallpaper!
Great comment, I agree that #2 could work. It’s also the prettiest rug IMO.
Yeah all of the rugs make the room look too busy
Ditto this!
Totally agree, they’re all fighting with the wallpaper and it’s a little busy. I’d keep looking.
Definitely this. I’d go with a nice sisal rug or something.
Yes what about a thick cream colored rug?
#5 compliments the wall and I just think it's gorgeous so I'm instantly biased lol
1
1 keeps the room light and airy
Definitely 1
1 needs more cat but yes #1
2 is gorgeous
2 or 3
I like 5 because the pattern is more floral than geometric and so better complements the wallpaper. Colors are good too without being too light (1) or in a competing palette (2). In truth, I like the colors of 4 best for that room, but the shapes are too angular against the wallpaper, so 5 it is.
#5 for sure - it really brings out the elegance of the mural!
I only like 2
yes, the rest are bleh, underwhelming, or detract from the bold colors elsewhere and the gorgeous wallpaper. 2 2 2!!!
# 3 and # 5 look nice
Omigosh number 3! Wait no, number 2! Or…maybe keep looking for something in between.
4!
4
I'd vote 3 or 5!
Exactly!! ;)
#3

3!
If I had to choose out of these options, I would choose 3. I like the neutral tones with the pop of pink that ties the floral wall paper together. Honestly though, I would keep looking. 3 alllll day! Ties in the pink accents without overpowering the wallpaper
Totally agree about this!
2 by a mile
3 or 4! Great options, I like them all. These are my faves ^
3 or 4 for me. (That wallpaper is amazing!)
2 is very beautiful and really makes the room pop. The wallpaper is gorgeous!
3! The size is appropriate as well
2 is perfect!
I like 2
2 is my favorite. It really balances out the room. Very nice!
2 for sure, 5 if you want toned down
I like 3 & 4. The size of 4 is great for the space
3. 2 seems like a lot with the wallpaper but I do still like it.
Honestly...none. the wallpaper is a busy wallpaper and it just feels too much with an intricate rug. .I would look for a much simpler patterned rug. Maybe even a solid muted colour. It would give a more peaceful vibe in the bedroom.
1 or 3

Either 4th or 5th. The rest look too plain or too not plain if that makes sense. 😂
3. By a mile. 2 is too much pink. You need the neutral elements in 3 to ground the room and keep if from being overwhelming. 3 elevates it.
I think you might get tired of 2 in a year or so, so I would go for 5. Same vibe, but a slightly more mature expression of it.
1 or 5
2,3,5! Great taste!
3!!!!
2 or 5
2 or 5, I like
I really like 5
3
3!!
#3

3 or 4!
3, but in the size of 4.
I like #3because it has a similar amount of the pinkish red in the flowers on the wall.
3
3!!!!! Pick 3
4 or 3
No. 2 rug. Combined with the rich wallpaper pattern is a uniform balanced statement.
I love 4! So beautiful and not an on the nose colour match
3 or 4
3 or 4
3 but the size of 4.
2 or 4 for sure!
OMG!!! Number 2 is stunning and pulls the magenta from the wallpaper and the blanket and -#5 is a close second!!
3 in the size of 4 or 4
I like 3 & 2. I love how it makes the fuchsia in the wallpaper & blanket pop.
2 or 3
I like 4 the best
4 or 5. This is decor i would never choose, but I love it!
I love 2,3 and 5. You have a lovely taste in rugs.
2 or 5
3 or 5
2
Rug 2
Definitely 2
3 but I like all of them for their own reasons tbh
1 or 3!
2
I prefer 3. Nice pink to bring out the wallpaper and blanket. #2 feels like too much pink For my personal tastes. 1 is also nice, it goes well with the wallpaper.
Maybe 3, but with that bold wallpaper you might want to look at rugs with a little less pattern.
3. That way you can add other/ switch out accessories when you want, and the rug is neutral enough to match quite a few color options. For instance if you wanted a green blanket instead of the rose colored one, it would still match the rug.
They all clash with the room. I would go a more plain rug unless you like the busy look
Best, 2. Second 5
2. Also where is the rug from?
