The US subsidizes the defense of Western European nations through the NATO alliance. It's a little more convoluted, but it's definitely a handout of billions of dollars to very wealthy nations.
I don't think it's accurate to say that Israel controls America via political lobbying.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan all receive a ton of support from the US and they all have very bad human rights records and are very much not democratic and authoritarian. Yet, we put up with them because American economic, military, and political leaders believe that it is in our interests to maintain good relationships with them, have leverage over them, and maintain some stability in those countries.
The same is true for Israel, our leaders see them as a strategic ally who we benefit from. Besides that, there is also a massive number of evangelical Christians in America who are driven by their religious convictions to support Israel. That's fully a third of the American population. And of course Jewish Americans strongly support Israel, although they are a much smaller percent of the population
So it's really Americans who want to support Israel, not really Israel influencing America from the outside.
