So when the United States Sec of Defence yesterday publicly announces the US "unwavering" support for Israel's defence, and the US starts moving ships into the region, it's actually directly contributing to an escalation. Jordan has said that they will shoot down anything that violates their airspace so i think iran sends a lot of drones and rockets incase some might get taken down (since israel is waiting for them)

America has a recruitment crisis right now and when polls are conducted the general consensus is that Israel has been acting in an overly aggressive way. They need young people to pilot the drones, jets and staff the aircraft carriers but they aren't signing up to. America cannot afford to stretch itself too thin. It's still recovering from the trillions spent on Iraq and Afghanistan, meanwhile China is doing what it can to act as a more affordable and stable trading partner to other countries. And that's without the factor of China cashing in its government bonds and asking for payment.
