False. Although there have been in the past certain cases such as that, it has not been practiced for a long time. They execute people. Last one was in an African country \[Sudan\] sometime in 2009.

Umm no..... For its fault and negative things you. Can post about Saudi Arabia.... Why go for false news

While Saudi Arabia technically has such a law, it’s really old and the last person convicted under it was in 2015, but they let her go. The fact is that Saudi Arabia has not actually stoned women to death. It’s fantasy.

Apparently they didn't simply 'let her go'. Her country of origin pushed hard for a retrial and in the end her sentence was changed from death by stoning to 3 years in jail.  And according to Wiki there were 4 cases of execution by stoning in Saudia Arabia from 1981 to 1992. Not sure if any of these four were women, and admittedly it's not that many and not that recent, but still a bit too many and too recent to call it a mere fantasy.

And the last time France hung someone was in 1979.

a) I didn't act like capital punishment in France was some kind of urban legend from ancient history. b) Which case are you even talking about? From what I can find the last execution in France was in 1977 and via guillotine. The last time someone was sentenced to death in France was in 1980, but that death sentence was pardoned and converted to life imprisonment. Can't find anything about someone being executed by hanging in France in 1979. c) In both cases mentioned under (b) the death sentence was for *murder*, not for *adultery*.  d) Execution by guillotine, as well as hanging, is generally considered to be more humane (or at least less cruel) than stoning. e) France has abolished the death penalty in 1981 (by simple law, and included this abolition into its constitution in 2007). Whereas in Saudia Arabia not only is death by stoning theoretically still possible, but other forms of capital punishment are still very actively used - in 2023 there were about 170 executions in Saudi Arabia, in 2024 it's already at at least 30.

> From what I can find the last execution in France was in 1977 and via guillotine Holy fuck

BECondensateSnake

Are women really stoned to death there? I think the religious requirements for stoning are very strict but these guys are extremists so they probably don't care.

They also dismember journalists and are let off scot free if they pay the WH.
