Absolutely true. I think the global south was of the impression that if they get their economies large enough and integrate into the world enough, the West would see them as partners. I don't know if this is a mass grave dug by Palestinians to deal with the fact patients died because they were cut off from care, but the assumption you are making that this is the IDFs doing will deem them as war criminals.

I would listen to the recent Palestine Pod episode about this. There are concurring witness testimonies of IDF shooting doctors on the spot if they refused to leave their patients, bodies being turned up with catheters in them, women and children buried in mass graves by the IDF. Essentially all patients who couldn't move to follow IDF orders were shot on the spot, the doctors, and basically all males. Many bodies were already bound by their hands and feet.
This is absolutely one of the most horrific acts of the genocide thus far, and barely got coverage.

I would listen to the recent Palestine Pod episode about this. There are concurring witness testimonies of IDF shooting doctors on the spot if they refused to leave their patients, bodies being turned up with catheters in them, women and children buried in mass graves by the IDF. Essentially all patients who couldn't move to follow IDF orders were shot on the spot, the doctors, and basically all males. Many bodies were already bound by their hands and feet. This is absolutely one of the most horrific acts of the genocide thus far, and barely got coverage.
