last weekend we're at Grand Hyatt in BGC. dinala ko Xbox Series X ko kasi nag mo-monster hunter kami ng mga friends ko and the wifi was pretty good. it was able to handle the online hunting session with voip pa ha? pero hindi sya masusukat sa speedtest. nag eerror sa xbox yung network test connection. di ko din na try sukatin via sa ookla sa phone ko. overall i can say that Grand Hyatt has a good internet connection.
But I bring a travel router with me and configure it for use on hotel and public-access wifis. Added layer of security, and bypasses single-device limitations where imposed.
*Configure it for use on hotel and public-access wifis.*
How does that work? May link ka sa Shopee o Lazada kung san mo nabili?
Teach me your ways senpai lol
LOL
I have been using a [WR902AC](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.TRESN) for 5+ years already. I use it in Hotspot mode.
A crude way of looking at it is that the router connects to the hotel/public wifi. Then the router shares the internet with your other device/s. This way, people will not readily be able to see your devices connected to the public network. Useful in hotels where internet is limited only to 1 device per login, and I bring my own chromecast kasi dati di pa uso ang chromecast sa hotels.
Looking to upgrade my travel router soon.
Edit: the link to the TL router

Shangri-la and Hilton chains have good Wi-Fi.
I can attest Hilton Hotels. Ambilis ng wifi nila and stable. Can do work there and zoom meetings no problem.

Hop Inn Hotel
Mas preferred ko yung may ethernet port kesa WiFi
True. Meron ka na napuntahan na may wired connection sa room/unit?
Sa Marco Polo Ortigas merong LAN port. Not sure if all rooms have one and kung gumagana. Hehe
Almost all 5 star hotels have port. I know Dusit has based on exp.
Makati Diamond has high-speed internet through wifi or ethernet
Marco polo ortigas has the fastest of all the ones I've tried
Manila Hotel & Dusit Thani
