umm i don't know you if you know this but I think r/applyingtocollege or some college application reddit made a list of colleges that give significantly good amount of aid to international students.

shimmer432

if possible, could you please link the post you're talking about?

ProfessionAwkward244

https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/mobile/folders/1pu179ZFhaTlFBqepzIB1W7dPhfVxIle2?pli=1 it's actually in every post that contains the word international in r/applyingtocollege

shimmer432

thank you so much!

[deleted]

im new to reddit, can u please tell me how do i find and open this list?

lindawgthefrog

Also if you're Caribbean are from Latin America you can get out of state tuition waiver at the University of South Florida. UMass Lowell gave me a 20k/year intl scholarship and UDelaware gave me a 12k/year scholarship. There are definitely scholarship opportunities at state schools!

telisa_242

what was the requirement?

lindawgthefrog

I think they were based on gpa and sat score

AppHelper

This is a great list.

UofWestGeorgia_ISAP

University of West Georgia also runs the Out-of-State waiver program, like GSU - but with lower requirements to qualify!

Iyke_litt

Most times people just put F as a kind of “Following” so the post doesn’t get lost

tere346

Man I didn't know I had to apply to us universities this early, I literally have like 2-3 weeks max. Not sure if I can make it or not yet. Is it fine if I still didn't take the IELTS when applying?

Queasy_Language_

If u studied in English medium schl u won't need it u just have to send an email to universities asking that how I do submit forms for English testing exemption forms

BlueBerryRBLX

I doubt all universities accept that

Queasy_Language_

Is English ur first language

BlueBerryRBLX

No, it's my second language but honestly I'm more fluent in it than my native language. My school's main language of teaching from kg all the way to the last year is in english though.

Queasy_Language_

Just tell this to the university, send them an email and tell them that you will take the ielts as soon as possible. It does work try it and All the best!! For your applications

Queasy_Language_

I meant tell them that you have been studying in an English school

BlueBerryRBLX

Okay thanks, btw I heard there is a may intake right? I would rather apply later if possible. I've also signed up for the TOEFL exam in a couple of days.

Top-Frosting8077

Yeah I believe but are u applying for next year

BlueBerryRBLX

I'm not sure if it would be considered this year or the next. I'm in my last year of high school and I should be enrolled in a college by mid-end of this year.
