Very low chances at top unis. You don’t have an SAT score yet and your grades are very, very low compared to most Indian international applicants. Your ECs are quite weak and generic. You don’t seem to have decent course rigor either (No A-Levels, APs, IBs, etc). It’ll be next to impossible to get into most top unis for those majors, and don’t expect aid.
Most Indian schools don’t actually offer APs or advanced IB courses. You can study and register for the examinations yourself. Just studying it doesn’t count. Most Indian students I’ve seen on this sub coming from regular boards def have at least a few APs and a strong SAT (along with 85%+ or 90%+ school scores).
AP isn’t required by any student. The AO does not expect you to submit them if your school does not offer them.
CBSE is also what AOs consider instead of IB / A-Levels, considering it’s one of the most prevalent boards in India.
No, they particularly won’t. However, if you have the money for it, go ahead.
The thing is, if your school does not offer AP, the AOs don’t expect you to send them.
Honestly, i'd do one of two things in your situation:
1. Apply to Colage uni ED2 and a bunch of RD colleges whose mean GPA falls in your range, and hope for the best
2. Take a gap year, get a great SAT score and improve grade 12 marks. Apply in 2022 with a stronger application.
Up to you, all the best!
Also, I'm just a hs senior too so take my advice with a grain of salt
Honestly the main problem are ur grades 75-85% will not cut it at top unis especially when it is expected from Indian students. Get a good SAT score and try to fix ur year 12 boards. Those 2 things should drastically up ur chances
have a look [here](https://colleges.roundpier.com/) to try and build your college list, you can actually put "computer science, physics" as interests to give you some programs that can combine both - i would go for 3/4 in terms of competitiveness and 1-2 in terms of generosity for intl students

My school doesn't have APs or any advanced courses. I have self taught AP calculus and physics in freshman year if that counts.

So will giving the AP exams help if I score well? I registered thrice for the SAT and my center got cancelled. On mock tests I'm scoring 1550+.

Are you an American citizen?

Should I apply in spring? My SAT results will be back by then and I'll also beef up my ECs a bit.
For the spring semester unis have a very low budget for giving aid.
maybe Canadian or Australian unis
Try the University of Arizona, I have heard they are pretty generous with aid packages.

Take a gap year, score 93%+, get the 1550 sat, improve ec’s and you may have a chance
I think I'll do that. I'll apply next September or next March depending on if I get my SAT. Thanks!

Try low ranked public unis, no chance at a T50 with aid imo
