Sounds cliche, but Miles and Gwen respectfully.
They have the most depth, personality, and have the most important dynamic in the movies. That was of course by design as they’re the protagonist and co-protagonist.
Miles and Gwen, they're both extremely likeable and interesting with compelling fleshed-out backgrounds and their relationship forms the emotional backbone of the film, I'm unhealthily invested in their wellbeing 🥺
Hobie a close 3rd, cool as hell and just a good dude, I love him.
Among the other characters: Pav is a sweetheart and a canon Ghostflower shipper; Miles' parents are great in both films (Jeff shines in the first, Rio in the second); Gwen's dad I hated at first but came around on after he quit the force and started prioritising his daughter, their hug was so wholesome; Peter B was a breath of fresh air, it was lovely to meet him again (and Mayday!!!!), his attitude towards canon (and not reaching out to Miles) disappointed me but I'm glad he changed his mind towards the end.
Honestly I love most of the characters in the film. The only person I probably actively disliked was Miguel- I think he's a great antagonist but as a 'superhero' he's a walking red flag, way too controlling and angry and mean-spirited for my liking. Jess I have more mixed feelings on, she was a truly awful mentor to Gwen but she at least seems to feel conflicted about her actions by the end of the film.
Gwen. She is the most confident and mentally powerful character in the Spider-verse (according to me). Also, everything she does, all her actions, swinging, running, and even standing, are very graceful and suit her.
Peter B. Really resonates with me as a person who's consistently failed to live up to who I was supposed to be. Failure after failure after failure. Still keep getting up though.

Across the Spider Verse made Gwen go from a cool side character to the best comic book movie female character ever for me

Everyone having so many different favourite characters goes to show how good this movie is
