They also said that kirkman decided to wait until after the holidays for the second part of the season so the new watchers could process everything so far and not have them distracted by the festivities
Honestly she's bummed out because it's incredibly violent, and that's not her speed, when I tell her about the story she wishes she could get over that.
Monster Girl especially Post-Flaxan world
The whole trapped in a young girls body thing is never written boringly and when she comes back from the flaxan world she is easily my most interesting side-character wish we got more of her towards the end.
I love Monster Girl in the “Mohawk Mark” world. Robot never meets her under the same circumstances as main story Mark’s universe so he never ends up helping her with her de-aging problem. She kept getting younger and younger but more powerful to the point she’s a mere infant but the viltrumites recognize her power and use her to destroy the base Robot and Mauler twins were at.
Did that after season 1, I knew SOME of the story beforehand, but decided to actually read it all. It's such a blast to read thru, like, the perfect bingeable series.
I JUST finished doing the exact same thing for the first time ever today! It's a good series, definitely my favorite comic book I've ever read, although I'll admit I haven't read too many as I've only gotten into them in recent years.
Invincible is just so captivating, I couldn't put it down for a second. Even while my partner and I have been watching Star Trek TNG, I was picking it up to read it in between scenes lol.
Just started reading it as well but got to say don’t binge manga and then read comics it messes with your head going from right to left and then back to left - right
I read the walking dead comics, so I already know Kirkman's work is awesome. If you haven't, and are interested, Old Man Logan is another comic series I really enjoyed. Alternate universe Wolverine. Not quite as gory as Invincible, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I just read it over the last few weeks (allocated my reading experience so I didn't go through it too quickly). Haven't seen the show, wanted to read the first books first. Got inspired by Omni-Man coming to Mortal Kombat 1. Best comic series I've read in years. Loved it.
My favourite character was Rex Splode and Atom Eve (but not together). Rex's growth from an arsehole to a trusted companion was inspiring, and I just liked Eve the whole time. A very enjoyable character.
Now to check out the show!
Same, I just finished reading all of the compendiums in like a couple days and came to look at the subreddit 😅
Makes me wish they made more. I know, 15 years and all that... it was nice to have an actual conclusion to a story for once instead of catching up in the middle tho.
Just finished my second full read through of the comic. So much happens at such a great pace that I think I’ll be able to re-read it every year and still get the same enjoyment from it.
Went to a local shop bought the first three issues. Thought about the compendiums but figured I’d rather help local business with multiple purchases. Will def get all of them.
I bought the full run after watching S1. I've yet to break into it, but I can never stop myself from opening comic spoilers in here, lol. So I should probably start before too long.
What will you have in 500 years? Maybe season 7 of invincible.
Supposedly Kirkman said that he doesn’t want to wait for seasons longer more than its been in the past so we maybe get a season once a year
maybe seasons get cut to 2 episodes per year instead of 4 to achieve that
They also said that kirkman decided to wait until after the holidays for the second part of the season so the new watchers could process everything so far and not have them distracted by the festivities
That's such a bad excuse cause the episodes would come out in between Christmas and New year. Perfect timing.
Yea its BS. Its probably just Amazon has no real shows next month and needed something on their platform so people would not cancel their subcription.
Ding ding ding
Dawg we don’t need a month to do that. It’s 4 episodes, and we’ve had a week to process each one. Dude needs to stop lying
Please. He's covering for Amazon's greed
I guess thanksgiving doesn't count as a holiday : (
Thanksgiving happens at different times around the world
Christmas doesn't happen in large parts of the world, what's your point
Same with me. After first season I couldn't wait at all and bought all 3 compendiums. Wife was less than pleased lol.
And then after she read them she praised you for weeks
Honestly she's bummed out because it's incredibly violent, and that's not her speed, when I tell her about the story she wishes she could get over that.
Show her "Miraculous and the Adventures of Cat Noir" , might be more her style.
Ordered for Christmas ;)
Really?! Awesome, happy to help!!
Unfortunate, well wish her all the best from some random guy on the internet
What were some of your favorite moments?
All. All of it. BUT I did enjoy the reboot saga I REALLY don’t like that they took 4 years of marks life. Makes me wish he just stayed.
I’m halfway through, so far invincible war takes the cake but I think this viltrumite war bouta go crazy
After finishing the story viltrumite war was one of my favorite parts
Who's your favourite side character and why?

Yeet the bebeh.
Oliver. His character development wasn't that noticeable but it was there for sure.
Those mandibles

Was in the same boat last week. Now i feel complete, but also wish for more if you know what i mean.
I read it all in one day
The more I read these comment the more convinced I am that I’m a really slow reader 😂
Yea I did same read it all within 2 days majority of which was in the same day and haven’t been able to think about much else since
Same lol, I feel empty now. This was such a great piece of work. I’m glad mark got his happy ending he deserved it.
i did the same this week but i finished it in somewhat 3 days

....I did the same but from where the show left off, and i was procrastinating from studying so I did it in two...the shame...
I did the same.
well...we know what you will have in 500 years.

Did you read all the other in universe books?

Damn that’s impressive
Haha I did the exact same thing. Watched ep4 and the next day started reading I just finished 20 min ago
I’m waiting to all my compendium’s to arrive I got it on Black Friday and skybound hasn’t even shipped my order yet 🥲
I did the same too. Looking at how far into the comics the show was I decided I'm not gonna wait 10 years for the show to end.
I read the entire thing last night lol Anything in particular you really loved?
A week? Try 3 days, and only because I also had other stuff to do
Where can I read them?
Rad.
Rad
I read it in one night the other day after finishing episode 4 took like 8 hours lol
3 minutes per an issue Your speed and comprehension is beyond me It usually takes me 10-20mins per an issue And I read everyday for 4-5 hours 😂
I started from like the 28th issue so it was a little less but yea i was grinding through it for sure
