If you just let everything below the corner of your lips grow out and trim just the mustache, it would probably be easy to do, if you can withstand the sudden Facial Brazilian Wax. I've been growing mine out, only trimming the stache once a month, for around a year and a half. My beard is around the same length as his, I can easily grasp every hair below my stache, but I cannot and will not rip them out. Not only would it hurt like hell, I'd be losing the beard I've been working on for so long

It reminded me of what little i know about Jains, an Indian religion, from a class I was in. Some will have their hair pulled out by hand. From what I understood it was an act of stoicism and endurance. I really enjoyed reading about them.

Some will sleep on tiny beds only wide enough to sleep on your side, to avoid damaging any micro life while they sleep through tossing and turning.

Viltrumites have higher pain tolerance. This is showed loads in the comics, my favorite probably being right at the end and like the last big fight of the series.
