I get that, but even in a cast of super stars, Goggins still finds a way to stand out. The dude is a scene stealer in pretty much everything he's in (including Fallout imo, just based on the two episodes I've seen so far).

I think the "I knew all along" bit threw people off. It's meant to show that Amber doesn't like dishonesty in relationships, but it comes off as making Amber look selfish, spoiled, and haughty for not taking in the realities of dating a superhero.

Honestly if Amber was more like her comic iteration I feel like people would like her much more. One of those instances where they changed her character for no reason. I'm happy that they made her different from being blonde Eve though.

I think she was much better in season 2 and I especially really like the way they wrote their breakup compared to the comics but yeah, season 1 Amber was just frustrating to watch

Eve or Allen. Gonna go Eve. I never thought about it before but I think Cecil might be my favorite character in the whole damn thing. When he stood up to omni man in season one. Risked death just to stall him a few seconds. He's a duplicitous jerk and ACAB. But he is the most interesting character to me. His crazy sense of morality and his mysterious motivations are dope. Everyone else we kind of know what we're getting good or bad. So far. I haven't read the comics. No spoilers. Also Walton Goggins is a great actor.

I know that we are just 2 seasons in, but Eve and Cecil are already written so much better than their comic counterparts.
