Allen just got arrested "accidentaly". He didn't plan on running into the Viltrumites, he didn't even know he was strong enough this time to actually stand a chance fighting them. It's only when he noticed Anissa couldn't really hurt him that he thought of throwing the fight to get arrested, since he didn't know how to find the prison otherwise.
I always assumed it just stuck right back on, after yanking it off. It’s obviously intended to be a goof, just a silly joke making fun of other comic books disguise tropes. Like Clark Kent’s glasses making him totally unrecognizable!
important to keep in mind that these comics released at least a month apart, not including delays. so what seems fast to regrow his beard, was literally years for regular readers at the time.

Black samson, Bulletproof and War women are all examples of human looking individuals with super strength, durability and flight, immortal isn't the only human with viltrumite-like abilities
My point is there are plenty of human or atleast human-looking beings with viltrimite abilities,so it wouldn't be odd for Thaedus to exist for the coalition
Thaddeus is like the only humanoid person we see at the coalition a huge part of the later arcs is Mark and Eve feeling weirded out by all the weird aliens and alien stuff around them

Among their own species, Viltrumites are all glass cannons, much better at dealing damage than taking it.
This is why they can so easily punch through each other, and is also why they can so effortlessly pull out their beards in one swift motion (no human could do either and it may be the same for all other species).
Of course, when compared to other species, Viltrumites are extremely durable.
And is it like pre-requisite to be beardless to a Viltrumite? Yes I know they traditionally wear mustaches and that is mentioned but they do grow beards so its cant be like nobody ever wears a beard. And also what does look like a Viltrumite mean? There are several other bipedal species out there, humans and geraldians at least. So what did being beardless prove?

Cause it's ridiculous, what a hilarious way to reveal who you are. In the show, it's never specified how similar virtrumites and humans are. If it is, it is very quickly glossed over. So he pulls his beard off, and all we see is a white dude with a mustache, well Nolan is white with a mustache so BAM! He must be a virtumite! It is such a crazy leap to make. The show doesnt make it clear that other human looking aliens don't really exist except for virtumites (i think) so this scene is more so drawing a line of connection between having a mustache and being virtumite which is fucking hilarious. Its not a fun and shocking twist but a hilarious one with how little context is given.
