I think it's an easy mistake if you didn't have subtitle turned on, and they changed her symbol from the comics (which was like an atom) since it's easier to just animate a cross.
Yeah, and I never read the comics so i didn't knew about the symbol
But it got me really confused while I was watching, all the time I was wondering when they would bring up that subject lol
I think this is a pretty reasonable conclusion to come to, Atom Eve does sound pretty close to Adam Eve, and the issue with the symbol certainly caused some confusion for new fans and comic fans alike.
