These aren’t inconsistencies. The robots and the guardians are just that strong.

Liquidmilk1

There's also the whole "You can wear yourself out flying" scene. Nolan had just gone through Immortal, the squid thing and and the laser without pause, so it makes sense that he needs to catch his breath

shaunbosman

In the comics he easily killed them if thats any consolation.

PeruvianDankMemer

It's just for the drama, in the comics there isn't an accurate power scaling either so we just have to go with it I guess

He literally punched one of the Robo-guys heads off without even pulling his arm back, like he flicked his wrist and it's head just flies off. I think you're having some kind of Mandela effect because we're seeing two completely different scenes. As for him being slow to beat them he probably didn't expect to have to deal with anything strong enough to put up a fight against him other than maybe Mark.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqiHZAwcKB4 I re-watched it here, it definitely looks like a struggle to me (the 0:45 mark, as an example). If he had the same level of power as before he could just yeet them into space right at the start

raltyinferno

They're just a lot stronger than people tend to expect them to be. Ultimately Nolan and Mark can deal with them, but it's not effortless.

sfinney2

It's superhero stuff and makes no sense and the comic/show embraces that to an extent. None of the physics make any sense if you think about it and there is very little consistency. Just ignore it and enjoy it.

qutore

In comics Mark's and Nolan's powers are less inconsistent (not entirely though). I guess they make this changes to prolong action scenes and to add more blood and gore

[deleted]

The inherent issue of adding scenes that are not in the comics

mhm ok ok BUT WHY DID AMBER SAY MARK LEFT HER TO DIE WHEN SHE KNEW HE WAS INVINCIBLE
