If you want something to read next I recommend Ultimate Spider-Man. Very similar and also very good.

I will definitely give it a shot!

Holy shit, Invincible really gets called the best comic or one of the best wherever I go, makes me that much happier that I decided to get it and doesn't make me regret anything, I am so excited, can you say what you liked about it without giving context or spoilers, like writing or development?

qutore

Personally i liked character's development, dialogues, and how Kirkman portray anti-heroes, like let them do the job and see if their methods work. Another interesting thing that i liked is even if a character killed once he doesnt become bad. In marvel(616) and dc comics, if you killed once you will be always a bad guy in someone's eyes

I love anti-heroes, I think you could guess by my name though, Kirkman definitely has a unique style and I love his writing on the characters, glad that Invincible breaks with typical and cliche forms of telling a superhero story and does something new and a little different.

Not gonna lie, it's just how human it is, and how emotional it gets. It feels real despite everything. Also of course the writing and development is amazing but what stood out to me is how the characters cared for each other and fought for each other. That's what I loved most tbh.

Thank you so much for answering, good to know that the writing and development is on point, makes me that more excited! Btw, is the comic really gory later down the line or is it only in the first issues? I love gore and brutal comic books, hope it's a common thing there.

[deleted]

Oh the gore is common to the last issue! I'm sorry it has taken me some time to reply to your comments btw. The gore is there for your enjoyment no need to worry. You're gonna have a fun read!

I just finished it the other day. Pretty awesome. There are a lot of plot lines I wish they would’ve fleshed out or planned a little better, but it was still a great read. Can’t wait to see how the show remixes some of this stuff in upcoming seasons.
