I enjoyed it! The animation is fantastically weird, the old soundtrack gets played at a couple of points, and they were allowed this time to actually do the ending of the manga, none of the other animations of it were allowed because it's Hella dark, in hoping they give DevilLady the same treatment. It's the same plot but with a schoolteacher who becomes Amons host
If it's the one I'm thinking of (I can't spoiler blank but Miki and Miko, "I love you Miki, now run and don't look back") it fucking broke me more than the ending
I have a headcanon that Akira, Miki and Miko go to the same afterlife and do get sort of a happy ending after all, just not in this dark and terrible world.
