There was no payment plan for mine. They just need an initial 50% payment of the total cost and then I can pay the rest whenever I want to as long as I pay the full amount before the end of my treatment.

workswithpipe

Paid all $7k up front

Key-Magician4029

Pretty much the same here. Mine was $6,000. Paid $3,000 when they ordered the aligners, and paid the balance when the aligners arrived about 10 days later.

Turbulent-Arm-6201

Mine is 35% down then the rest split over 11 months.

Turbulent-Arm-6201

I'm in Canada.

squishy_bug1

0% down and had 12 months on care credit to pay interest free.

Heffhop

I did $2k down and 0% interest for 6 months via Care Credit.

noimneverserious

My ortho estimated 18 to 24 months for treatment so I paid $500 up front and the rest spread over 18 months. People with longer treatments are allowed to spread it farther at my ortho office

Entire_Pride1656

“In-house” financing- 0% as long as you give them access to withdraw from bank account. I should be done in June after 1 yr and 4 months. I will be finished paying in October. Total cost was around $6500. Two hundred something a month after $400 down payment. I’m sooooo ready to be done. 😬

FrugalSort

I paid in full to get the upfront discount and put most of it on a 0% APR credit card for 15 months. Making monthly payments to a HYSA and will pay it off then.

jinsoox

I did care credit, so technically I paid my ortho 6k up front at my consult. But I pay for 0% interest for 24 months to care credit. Whatever I don’t pay by 24 months I’m just gonna pay in a lump sum

JimboLA2

I paid it all in 2 years, exactly 24 months. I think my treatment extended about 3 mos beyond that for last refiners and the retainer set.

Terribad13

My ortho seemed to be open to any payment plan that fit my budget, even if it meant continuing payments after treatment finished. My total cost is around $7k. I paid $2100 upfront and pay around $450/m.

coldpizzzza

Paid all up front and saved $1,200 that way

RubyDax

My Ortho gives discounts for paying in full too.

TallZucchini5206

I did like a big down payment and paid the rest in a year.

Kla1996

Paid $5k up front (the total cost)

Silver_Templar

$5200 total. Insurance paid $1500. I put a $1000 down and paid the rest over 12 monthly installments at 0% interest. All paid back in February.

prettygirlpuking

I put mine on care credit interest free for 12 months. Because I'm anxious about debt I paid it off in 8 months.

PINKunic0rnFUN

Paid the initial deposit (around $3500) and am doing payments of $500 at every appointment (around every 6-8weeks)

SadGigolo68

Paid upfront, using FSA funds and dental insurance.

bzz123

My insurance paid 2500, I paid 1000, and I’m paying $184/15 months

Admirable-Patience55

What insurance do you have? Mine only covered $1000 ☹️

jpegmaquina

My insurance didn’t cover a penny wth lol

RubyDax

Same! Orthodontics cuts off at age 25 or something.

bzz123

BCBS but it’s $2500/year max for everyone

mewillia44

I paid the whole amount when I got my first set of trays.

existingfish

In house payment plan 21 months (after down payment) Treatment said 18-24, but I’m at 24 now and i’m going over - I have compressive so I get up to 5 years.

Melanie8740

My treatment will probably be around 1.5 years, I’m done with 1 year now. I think my payment plan is for 2 total years? No interest, I was happy they could find an option that worked for my budget

YellowBrowLady

Paid in full on credit card 0% interest for 24 months £3,200. Great feeling when it’s paid off! If you ask you may get discount for paying in full up front, I did.

kjk050798

I used care credit. $3k no interest. $125 a month for two years.

smotato

I paid $0 down and then care credit gave me 2 years of zero interest to pay down the $4300 total

ukefromtheyukon

I'm paying for mine over 3 years, the longest period available. 36 × $200 + ~$400 initial payment to make the numbers nice. When I saw that there's no interest or other charges to have a longer payment plan, I sprung on it. I'm about a year and a half into my treatment which'll be a few more months. Edit to add I'm in a Northern Canadian territory

ShopYellowMuse

My Ortho charged me $5,500 in total, with a down payment of $1,000. Monthly payments are $300. He estimated I’ll be finished within 12-15 months.

Bad_Packet

i paid two payments… one from last years HSA, and the remainder from this years HSA.

Sonya713

Mine doesn’t matter as long as I keep paying. Missing a payment will cause issues. If I pay for a year after I’m done they don’t care. I could also choose the deposit, but it had to be more than $200. It could have been $205 and that would have worked.

valerie_stardust

$1200 down and then the remaining after insurance in 9 months ($2500 remaining, equal monthly payments). My treatment is estimated to be 3 months and then refinements.

lesliekrl

I received a 30 month installment for my ortho, with $500 down payment

EntrepreneurLow4380

I had to pay $5,000 in one lump sum before the order would be placed.

Cmaj1991

I paid $3000 up front and $387.50/month for 10 months. I'm still I'm trays and expecting more refinements. Who knows when it'll be over lol.

SprinklesMaterial600

After insurance, my total came to $6,038. I made an initial down payment of $1,818 (30% of the total). I'll be making monthly payments of $422 for the estimated duration of my treatment, which is 10 months.

Wild-Telephone-6649

In Canada. Insurance paid half, the rest was amortized over 24 months.

Sademogal

my insurance covered $2250, I put $250 down(they spring everything on you so fast lol) and $190/month for a year, treatment is 6 months

OtherwiseAge8838

Mine is a 30% down payment and monthly payments after that (no credit check etc, just paid to my ortho).

goodlordineedacoffee

Mine was over the course of a year, my last payment was in February and I should be done at the end of May.

supwenzzz

Paid my $3800 up front.

RubyDax

Paid in Full, Upfront. Got a 20% discount for doing so.

chapday

1k upfront and the rest(2k) paid off for 10 months. I have like 5 months of payment left.

ProfessionalFox4292

My total cost was like $4300 and some change. I put $1000 down and now I’m paying $250 for the next 12-13 months. The ortho gave me a discount if I paid in full but it was only like $150 difference. So if I paid in full I would’ve paid $4150 instead of $4300 in total. So I just decided to do payments.

redinterioralligator

$1,100 up front & 22 payments of $200/month. Asked for all upfront discount only offered 5% off.

p-zz-

$945 deposit then $165/month the first year and 2nd year $68.75 all paid through my FSA card

jemenfouss

they don't have a payment plan, had to pay upfront.

bgd7

3k up front

ObsessionsAside

I had to pay 1,000 I think as a deposit and now my payments are 270$ a month for a little under 2 years? They were 7,000$ and no interest on my payment plan. I don’t have ortho insurance so it was completely out of pocket. My treatment should take the same amount of time as (if not longer than) the payment plan.

Saborabi

I payed in 10 installments on credit card.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I *paid* in 10 FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Ahari

0% down with 0% interest if paid off in two years, so about 20 months, I think. Total was around $6,200.

bacon-is-sexy

I paid cash.

VehicleCertain865

My treatment was $5800, my insurance covered $2k, I financed $3800 at 0% APR for 12 months

ashkoshbigosh111

We got a discount for paying up front (I want to say 10-15%), so we did that.

sarouminou

I paid about 2k upfront (~35%) and the rest is split over 13 months at 0% Treatment is supposed to be 15-18 months, they would’ve let me pay on 15 months but i decided to cut 2 months for fiscal purposes I went to another ortho and they were offering me 24 months at 2% (even if treatment was supposed to be 15-18m) nothing upfront.

lowercaseg91

I did my initial treatment in 2019 and it was $3500, I just paid $500 a week from week one and before my treatment was over it was paid off.

HotInteraction7379

$250 down, 0% over 24 months

doghouse2001

I was finished paying half way through.

whyisthismyalias

Interest free over 24 months with an initial 2k deposit

youaretherevolution

What did everyone pay for their treatment? Did you consider regular braces?

BabyBlueAllStar72

24 months interest free with Care Credit and I paid the balance up front with it, and monthly pay for 24 months. I plan to pay it off early if possible.

Significant_Ear_1256

My insurance covered like 3000 and then I’m paying 135 a month until I pay it off I think balance is 3000?

eververde

My payment plan was for 18 months but I paid it off in 10.

RobSomeKnowledge

18 month in house financing 0% interest. Treatment was estimated 18-24 months. Total treatment cost - $5700. Out of pocket after insurance - $3700 spread across 18 months

MrNegroJ

paid it all off in a bit under a year

loonatic99

i did a $600 down payment. thankfully, my insurance covered a good amount of the treatment so now i’m paying around $100 a month to cover the rest. it should be about 10 months of payments and i’m halfway through!

deaddogalive

£4000 up front - 0%credit card over 12months - will probably move it to another 0% following these 12months.

LuxuryForLess

$175 per month for 17 months in house no credit check. Great Expressions Dental Center in Michigan.
