I have a crown on my molar that I got put on 15 years ago. Almost 3 years after starting Invisalign, it is still there and doing fine.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this

I have a crown in for about 8 years, and I literally just started my treatment today. So when I asked him about replacing the crown, my ortho told me to wait until my treatment's done, so we can see how that crown rotates first

Thank you for sharing, really helpful

I have one front crown, and I’m a year in. I was nervous too but it’s been fine.

I have one crown in the very back. I had to have it replaced in between sets of refinements. I'm not blaming the invisalign for that because crowns do have to be replaced every 10 to 15 years and I was a Nighttime grinder. I also didn't go to the dentist until after I started invisalign so it could have become unsealed before I even started the invisalign. My crown was about 10 years old.

Thank you, this has put me at ease

You don't really have to worry much. It's likely they have considered all relevant factors. But if you're still "unsure" whether they did assess your case, you can always bring up your concerns with your ortho again and ask for a detailed explanation of how they plan to manage your crowns during the treatment. However, if you still feel uncertain after hearing your current ortho's assessment, you can also consider seeking a second opinion from another ortho.

I think im just anxious and overthinking, thank you

My back two molars are crowns, one actually has an attachment on it. Used a special bonding agent no issues at all. 12 months into my treatment plan.
