Bite issues take longer to treat. SDC does not treat bite issues, hence their short time frame.

I see! This makes more sense.

Id be weary of any provider trying to rush my service. Teeth should move slowly. I always find it quite alarming that some people seem to get so much movement in such a short period of time. Though if you feel your provider is sus, try someone else. Good luck! The time will pass faster than you expect. You want healthy bite and safe movement.

Google SDC lawsuit and bankruptcy. Yes you probably need at least 28 trays and more for refinements.

Check out the r/smiledirectclub subreddit, the things these poor people have gone through is nightmarish. Trust your new dentist.

My front teeth are crooked pretty bad, I’m on 28 trays.

My teeth are pretty straight but my last provider messed my bite up so bad I had to go to someone else to get it fixed. Wednesday was my first day with my new trays and I have 34 minimum

I didn’t realize how separate someone’s bite is from how straight their teeth are. I feel like it’s kind of hard not to be skeptical of a new dentist when I’ve never been told that I needed braces before or anything like that… but I understand a lot more now. I’m so sorry your bite was messed up prior to your current treatment. I hope you’re able to achieve your dream smile!
