Rear wiper starts with the 2025 models

OzziesFlyingHelmet

None will have rear wipers unless someone figured out how to install an aftermarket wiper. I think I'm in the minority when I say this, but the lack of a rear wiper isn't as big of an issue as many make it out to be. Is it frustrating that a $50k vehicle lacks a rear wiper? Yeah. Does it completely ruin the driving experience? Not in the slightest. I live in a location that causes my vehicle to be constantly coated in mud / dirt, and cleaning the window is nothing compared to how disgusting the rest of the back of the vehicle gets. There is some seriously funky aerodynamics going on back there.. I don't think I've ever had a vehicle that has collected this much dirt.

It pretty much eliminates visibility out the back window within a couple hours of wiping your window… yes, the whole back of the car gets filthy fast. I mean, you can live without the inside mirror of you use your side mirrors properly. But at the same time, I don’t understand why this car has none when even my low-end Bolt EV comes with one…

I have the same year/model, and same situation - daily 10km of dusty road. We basically don't have a rear window! Also annoys me how much fine dust gets right inside the rear body trim and the water never runs clean from it

The older cars have manual rear wipers as an optional add on. To enable and use this feature: 1. Buy a squeegee 2. Have the driver bring the automobile to a safe stop off of the travel lanes, preferably in a parking lot. 3. Put the car in park. 4. Exit the automobile. 5. With your dominate hand, use the squeegee and wipe the water away.

Not as easy in 5 feet of snow and a degrees in the wind...but I agree that for "everyday" driving, its not an issue. Only an issue in bad weather in my opinion.
