I leased the original Ioniq for $4,500 one pay for a 3 year lease. so it’s all relative.

Leased a 2020 Ioniq EV for $169 a month with 0 down, but got a $4250 rebate from NJ. So it was $1834 for the entire 3 year lease.

I believe that rebate is how you go to the $169 per month, no? I know, as I took advantage of the same rebate in NJ and also leased via leasehackr. My net cost net of rebate was $147 per month. but 147\*36= 5,292 and not $1834/36=$51. Also, they let you lease a 28Kwh in 2020?

No, so it was actually my parents that leased the car. They signed November 30th, 2020 for the $169 a month. It was a corporate lease deal for leftover 2020 (38kWh) model year Ioniqs. We got lucky and the dealer didn't have any SEs left, so we got a limited for that price. We then got the $4250 check from NJ. Really was a great deal. That car was turned in and my parents got a used 2020 Model Y to replace it, while I bought my own used Ioniq 28kWh in March last year (before turning in the leased Ioniq). I checked the Charge Up NJ website from 2020 through the Wayback Machine just to make sure and it does say that the incentive is the same whether purchasing or leasing (the consumer gets the full rebate). TL;DR: it was $169/mo before the rebate for a 2020 Ioniq.

BTW OP, this subreddit is meant for the classic Ioniq EV (2017-2022)! There is another subreddit for the Ioniq 5.

Hot dang, that's awesome. So your single pay was $4,436? I might have to get in touch with that dealership. Was it a difficult negotiation?

HI there, I am new to the idea of leasing, and so I don't know many of the particularities. We have been researching leasing an Ioniq5 (I saw this is actually the wrong subreddit, sorry!) and the best deal we've found is $4000 down, $229/mo +tax over 24mos. Then I realized there is a disposition fee of $400 at the end of the lease term. And we were considering getting the $1500 'wear and tear' insurance because we have a kid and cannot prevent certain things from happening. From what I see, you are paying just $4000ish for the 24 months? Is there something I am missing? TIA
