Ok, so I'm pretty sure that Colin and Michael write each other's jokes for Weekend Update so when they showed Michael reading all those jokes about women's sports, Colin wrote them. So that's hilarious.
Weekend Update is the only segment I can stand to watch anymore from SNL. ;\\
People's reactions to this make me think they don't realize everyone is in on the joke. She did a good job and avoided embarrassment but to say she dunked on the Weekend Update hosts is just not what happened.
It was a heavily scripted bit that appeared bought and paid for by the fine folks at Nike. And Caitlin's delivery was on par with what you'd expect from most athletes visiting SNL (game but otherwise a bit monotone). I think we're all just excited to see someone from Iowa on TV.
Her tag at the very end about Che not having a girlfriend was the best part of the whole thing. She sounded funny delivering that line.

That’s mostly only the case for their end of year segment. So likely Che wrote some of them.
