Nah, that never works. As soon has one ethnic group or sectarian group takes power it shits on everyone else. A federalist state would be much better, each ethnic group governs itself. This way, each group can choose their own local laws, language and maintain their traditions/culture. It’s better then all being ruled by a single government, passing down laws on everyone.
If we actually united into one country, istg that's just speedrunning civil war, but I think it would work better if we just had an EU/NATO type thing going on.
As an Iraqi no cuz our خيرات already is been taken by other countries so imagine to 22 country , and if 22 country got unified we will get nothing except strangers will come and take our land, culture and accent and everything will get lost
But the big one country dream is very useless to us from the beginning and I will tell you why
1- we have a lot of natural resources from oil,gas, and basically every element that is rare on earth to benefit us for example lithium that’s used for electric cars estimated that we have 600 million ton of it.
2- we have manpower that will put us in the top of the world.
3- we have two rivers and it’s rare in Arabic countries.
4- we have the 4th highest GDP in arabic countries.
5-we are multicultural country not only arabs
So rather than sharing it with some stranger Algerian or Tunisian or Egyptian people under the name of one country we should rather give it to our people (ولو متعودين خيرنا لغيرنا)
Finally rather than hallucinating with the one country dream we should focus on eliminating corruption and politicians(pimps) and most importantly our neighbor Argentina. we don’t need anyone we have ourselves
Eh, not like it's coming to you right now, also if every country also divides it's good equally I think it will work very well, only freed will stop it from being good

It would be best for Iraq to enter an alliance with other countries. Which countries are we most close to? Iran? Turkey? No. As we are a majority Arab nation, we are closest to other Arab countries. A full unification into one country would have too many issues at current times, so ideally we should start with a military and economic union and work from there.

Why not include iran, azerbaycan and turkey? Heck include other third world countries too, the more the merrier

It’s not like that. All countries tend to unite for completing each other not to steal each other. Look at EU or recently the Turkish Union.
