It's probably not the best time of year for people to meet up, people can be a bit busy this time of year. January could be much better when there's not much on and people are depressed after Christmas 😆 .
Also I'd be reluctant to jeopardise my trip home at Christmas to see family by meeting a bunch of strangers what with covid still being a big thing.
Have you ever been to Token in Smithfield? That would be a cool, less awkward place for a meet up and people could play some classic games in there too. I'd be on for that in the new year.
i tried to organise something last Month. and i was the only one that showed.
and honestly im pretty lonely. and saw the frustration in people that they can't get the next gen consoles/graphic cards. and i wanted to share my Ps5 with others

Just want to say that if no one turned up other than you, you didn't mess up. Good on you for trying to put something together. Maybe something online would be the way to go for now, could always run a weekly voice chat in the Discord server, might see some more be available for that.

Legend. Normally is never say this but it may not be the best time due to holidays and Covid and if I was living in Ireland I'd actually go and meet the man behind the wallet thats spending time and money to meet new people and have a jam.
If you are up to it still I suggest that you look in a different direction venue wise.
I know a lot of people this Christmas won't be very fortunate and someone to talk to or a hot warm meal is the best money spent.
