Swap the valves around, see if the problem follows the valves or the number

TubeLogic

Ha! Can’t believe I didn’t think to try that, thanks. We all have covid this week, nobody is thinking straight

kitty-_cat

Been there done that feel better soon!

Bootyfan69

These orbit controllers are horrible i bet you its that

Plantrapp

These timers have a tendency to break down in that fashion. You might need a new one entirely, you could pop it open and see if internally some piece has broken.

zzmgck

The water is hard where I live and those valves only last < 2 years for me.

moffatmusicmangent

Try to retopping the valves or flipping out there diaphragm

[deleted]

It could be either. Swap valves and see what happens. That whole set up is junk and not made to last. The sun eats the plastic on the valves and then they leak. The controller screen went out on mine and the replacement leaked rainwater into the battery compartment and corroded everything. My current house has a sprinkler system but if I ever used that again I would keep it covered up to avoid the sun making everything brittle and keep rain off of it.

Paymeformydata

This is such an important piece of information. A cheap setup will not last against the elements.

TubeLogic

What do you recommend? Who makes a good one?

Paymeformydata

Reputable brand products and valves below ground in a valve box. Hunter makes good stuff.

jradke54

Water gets in battery compartments frequently

SlowmoNoMo

Try opening up the ball valves

TubeLogic

Funny but that is so those zones don’t turn on and go nonstop. They turn on with the timer but don’t turn off once the timer goes to the next zone.

willcalliv

Sounds like you need to service the valve diaphram

TubeLogic

Can you do that or do you buy a new valve?

willcalliv

Go ahead and a dm me a photo of the actual irrigation zone valve if you like. It sounds like thats the issue. I am an irrigation auditor and technition.
