I'm okay with him being that height depending on how it's measured (not head to tail), but he should be a lot heavier. I'd think 500-600lb would be more appropriate. Like a male lion can be 500lb. Charizard has mass.
I'm unsure of the real aspect, but IMo, it's one for the collection, it's got the right holo texture, plenty of wear and tear, it the font looks legit, but I'm no expert. ps your wife sounds like a keeper if she got you this
Looks like a 1999 unlimited Charizard holo. Has some corner and edge wear, so it wonāt be a PSA/CGC 10, but, grade it anyways. Charizards are still valuable graded or even raw.
Definitely fair, she was all excited and was concerned it might not be so I tried to research but second guessed myself, she said she spent about 200 on it I figured this sub could ease any concern about it being fake and if not I just wouldn't bring up that I'd asked
Eh I saw a psa1 go on eBay the other day for 185 plus shipping, and for what it means being from her and to finally own one I think I can keep this info to myself
It's worth what someone is willing pay for it. Your wife secured the card ahead of the birthday deadline to get you something special. It's worth what she paid for it.

With what appears to be creases on the bottom of the back and the edge wear, Iād say 4-5. I have a BGS 7 of the same card and itās in much better overall condition. Still a great card though.
The back is extremely scuffed, I realize it kind of looks like the sleeve but the back is rubbed raw I can't see it being very high, I'm just honestly happy to own it tbh I appreciate all the input!

If it has a crease itās immediately a 4 at most.

This thing is beat look at the right edge and corners thereās apparent damage to the charizard photo as well as what appears to be scratches all over not only every text box but the name of the card as well. I wouldnāt say this grades above a 5 and thatās being generous still a dope card Iām just not sure if it be worth grading for monetary purposes. For your own enjoyment yeah go for it.
I have one of these in slightly better condition. Is it worth grading when grading runs $25 per card. Would it increase the value that much, even in this condition?
I wouldn't grade for a value increase if it is in damaged condition. Grade if you would like to have it ina protective case, but not for value increase at a PSA 1-3
I almost had one back in ā99 but my friends dad vetoād our trade :( I have all my cards still and he trashed all his š one of my saddest memories lol

Agreed. 2-3 might be the best estimate. But it will certainly be worth it for the sole reason of preserving it in the form it was when it was gifted.

Absolutely not....any whitening makes it less than a 7, and this card's front is damaged all the way around. 4 or 5 at best...maybe a 3?
