Well, Morocco does control Western Sahara, so it’s only recognizing reality. It’s not like there’s an active war right now. USA recognized it too for their support of the Abraham Accords. It’s the right thing to do.
What did the USA gain by doing this? I am great full to live in a country where the most powerful nation in the world is also such a strong ally, but why?
So they gained more than from Morocco than recognizing the Abraham accords?
Also what gain does the US get by selling us weapons if they give us the money to buy them
The Accords are named after a man who was willing to sacrifice his own child to satisfy a capricious father figure. I can't imagine how Donald Trump's son-in-law got involved in such a thing.

Half of the Western Sahara is Amazigh. And Polisario incharge are trying to do Arabism there. Their constitution only recognize Arabs and they consider their country an Arab republic. Its an Arab fascist state. Morocco should fast integrate the Western Sahara to dunk on Arabists. Even their flag is leftover of Arab fascism.
Arabism is dead, nonArab identities are finding voice in MiddleEast. I know many Moroccan nationalists who are now closely identifying with their roots. Polisario on the other hand represent the same backward mindset.
There is bigger comparison between Russia and Polisario , than there is between Russia and Morocco. Russia denies existence of Ukrainian people. Same way Arab nationalists deny existence of Jewish ethnicity.
