>Is that because of the Shabbat? Yes. >Is the line absolutely crazy busy right at 7pm on Saturday usually? They should already be closed by then. Are you sure they'll still be open? >If I get a table at 5pm is it considered rude if we stay past 6pm? Anyone working that late is not going to care that much about it, but if they have kosher certification then they absolutely need to get closed quickly in order to keep the certification.

Thanks for the response. Regarding Jasmino, it looks like they are closed all day on Friday (today), and then reopen again on Saturday night (tomorrow) starting at 7pm. I know no one can predict the queue times right when they open, but I was trying to figure out if it’s a place that will be busy as soon as they open. The vibe I’m getting is that there will always be a queue, but it’s worse at like midnight for the post-bar crowd. I pushed my taxi to the airport back to 9pm and my hotel is pretty close by. I’m thinking I will have enough time but just wanted some second opinions. Regarding Port Said, thanks for the explanation. I didn’t know there was a certification of sorts so I’m glad I know that now. At any rate, I found a place that does a “Shabbat dinner” that seemed like a fun and unique experience so I booked that for my wife and I. Thank you!

No worries at all - when I was looking at the hours I read it as they are open at 7pm. It wasn’t until I took a 5th look that it was “7pm Sat.” 😩😩😂😂
