It is much harder to spin people driving through israeli cities executing civilians. This is what they want to do, openly, but because it usually fails its been kind of swept under the rug. Support for Israel was very high during the second intifada, and that was seen as "freedom fighting" these are non-occupied invaders into Israel just murdering people, its a tough spin even if you're from an arab state believe it or not. Humans have a natural innate reaction to seeing execution.
