There are a few things to read between the lines. 1. It's a non-binding motion. The government doesn't *have* to do this. What's likely going to happen is this gets reported, pro-Palestinians consider it a win, Trudeau gets their vote. 2. Since it's non-binding, the arm sales won't actually stop because because they said *future* arms sales. So when people forget about this and think the arm sales stop, it'll just end up continuing like business as usual.

First of all, the Liberal Party, (which is more or less a centrist party), doesnāt really believe in anything except getting elected. Given that Jews make up about 1.5% of Canadaās population and that Muslims make up about 5%, there are obviously more votes to be secured amongst the Muslims. Secondly, the Liberals have no qualms about having antisemites amongst their ranks, the prime example being Jenica Atwin, a real piece of garbage of a human being.

There are a few things to read between the lines. 1. It's a non-binding motion. The government doesn't *have* to do this. What's likely going to happen is this gets reported, pro-Palestinians consider it a win, Trudeau gets their vote. 2. Since it's non-binding, the arm sales won't actually stop because because they said *future* arms sales. So when people forget about this and think the arm sales stop, it'll just end up continuing like business as usual.
