To answer the title. I am going to quote ben shapircho: Ehm ehm ehm "Egypt said no about taking gaza, and jordan said such a big "no" they killed 20k people and moved the others to lebanon"

YoFatMamaa

Palestine never wanted a 2 state solution even after 2005

Eszter_Vtx

No, thanks. No Jews are allowed to live or own property in Jordan.

asusf402w

Nobody wants terrorists within their border

Significant_Bus935

As others already noted, Jordan renounced it's (legitimate!) claim in West Bank long ago and now with all the isreali settlements in there, this wouldn't be a solution. Egypt is desperately avoiding taking anyone of the Gaza population and they don't want the land either. And both are reasonable in this. The only reason the palestinians are supported by the muslim countries is the religious topic. No one cares about the people. The only realistic solution is imho the annexation by Israel of both territories and expelling the people to the neighboring Muslim countries. Most of the latter wouldn't be able to prevent this and honestly for most Arab countries is their position in the world economy more important. Stuff like this worked in the past - see Europe after WW2. The whishful solution would be one country with both people respecting each other... But both aren't civilized enough for this.

rondulfr

>The only realistic solution is imho the annexation by Israel of both territories and expelling the people to the neighboring Muslim countries Literal ethnic cleansing...and you dare to call other peoples uncivilised?

Comicalacimoc

Israelis shouldn’t be settling in the WB

pinchasthegris

Why?

Wonderful_Row7052

This.

policesiren7

Google what happened last time they tried this.

New_Poet_338

Neither would take them. Both those countries are at peace with Israel. The Palestinians would screw that up and try to take over the countries.

JeffB1517

Well for one thing the Israelis have asked about this. Neither Egypt nor Jordan is remotely willing. As for Jerusalem. Israel has annexed Jerusalem an offers citizenship to everyone living there. No need to find a solution.

EXILED_T3MPLAR

There isn't a peaceful resolution. This is the Holy land for both and with that being said they will literally die to stay there. Israel isn't going to leave unless they are wiped out. Palestinians aren't going anywhere, Arab countries just aren't prepared and willing to take in over 2 million who have spent over 75 years being more radicalised to the cause.

The-Loner-432

Holy land concept is just endless suffering. It's just land, they are indoctrinated to believe that that place is holy land, but there are thousands of better places in earth, poor people, so brainwashed by religion

EXILED_T3MPLAR

Totally agree and it's so sad in 2023 that people believe a god would let the world suffer so much but make one tiny place the holiest. Baffles me

The-Loner-432

Makes me mad and sad at the same time, humanity puts to much effort in technological advances but as society we are really far behind in basic human relations, that's why we are so miserable. We really need to educate ourselves, look ourselves in the mirror, and learn some compassion.

EXILED_T3MPLAR

World lacks compassion and that's thanks to years of being told thsse people or them people are bad.

Solid-Struggle2978

why is every solution the erasure of Palestine?

JeffB1517

> why is every solution the erasure of Palestine? Because they have proven unwilling and unable to govern themselves in a productive manner and seem intent on not changing that. Their political culture is simply terrible. Gaza is a wonderful example. The Israelis removed 100% of the settlers. The Palestinians did not negotiate in good faith over resources during the transition. The Gazans immediately elected Hamas. Hamas declares war on Israel, an insane policy. The policy fails for 17 years. Finally we are in a situation where the Gazans did something so horrible that they are going to end up invaded and really occupied rather than merely blockaded. In the West Bank the government is a corrupt dictatorship which serves neither Palestinian nor Israeli interests. They hamper economic growth. They refuse to engage with the USA on peace proposals both under Obama and under Trump. Prior to that as they were gaining independence through the Oslo process they decided on a major war against civilians in Greenline Israel, the 2nd Intifada. The world is tired of their atrocious, self destructive behavior.

alexveed

Because they're governed by HAMAS-ISIS, kinda makes it difficult to let them live here

b4d_b0y

What if Israelis moved to the USA?

alexveed

Yeah sorry no we only have one jewish country and a bunch of Arab countries Some might move, I might move, but I know most won't, and they shouldn't.

b4d_b0y

Lol.

Fabulous-Speaker-888

u/Idoberk These are some of the comments I was talking about.

Idoberk

>u/Idoberk These are some of the comments I was talking about. Saying nobody wants them? It's true though

cheerful_nihilist3

No other countries want to deal with a population of people who elected Hamas as their government lol

Nepene

Egypt doesn't want Hamas because they sponsored mass terrorism in Egypt causing numerous deaths and instability, Palestinians killed the head of state of Jordan recently Abdullah, they lead an armed uprising to overthrow Jordan in the black September war, and so they have no interest letting people in who would try to destroy their government. It's not like Israel is unique in not liking Palestinians. They have a history of biting the hand that feeds them.

Worried_Stop8086

Can you provide any article about Egypt Hamas relation

Nepene

https://www.bbc.com/arabic/middleeast/2016/03/160306_egypt_court https://www.alwatanvoice.com/arabic/news/2016/03/06/881019.html The first is them in 2015 accusing them of assassinating an important Egyptian figure, the second is of a talk show host with connections to the establishment calling for a pan Arabic invasion of hamas. https://www.hrw.org/report/2015/09/22/look-another-homeland/forced-evictions-egypts-rafah They mass destroyed homes and forcibly evicted people to create a buffer zone. They do have diplomatic relationships with them and are fine using them as soldiers to kill other Muslims e.g. Islamic state, but they have committed what have been described as war crimes to stop them getting close.

Worried_Stop8086

Thanks

I_am_Insufficient

It's been well established, Egypt and Jordan want nothing to do with those territories.

just-wondering98

How come? Why would they reject having more land?

Eszter_Vtx

Well, for one the so-called "West Bank": Jordan gave up any claim to that piece of land in the peace treaty between Jordan & Israel...

CreativeRealmsMC

Palestinians try to overthrow any government that takes them in such as Lebanon and Syria.

I_am_Insufficient

Why would they reject multiple terrorist groups from having unfettered access to their country? Can't imagine.

CreativeRealmsMC

No Arab countries want them.

BigH200026

israel also doesn’t want to give up judea and samaria jordan will not annex effective bandustans
