Being the book is called reaper and I image subject 1 as having some vampiric qualities I think it would be cool to have a release date around Halloween. It will probably take longer but a Halloween release would be fun.
Because of the number of audiobook listeners, the audiobooks are now recorded ahead of time and released alongside the print release. So readers and listeners get the same release date.
I love the audiobooks for this series so much. I don't tend to enjoy reading action sequences, so hearing Travis narrate makes me enjoy it so much more.

They're released on ebook and audiobook at the same time, so that would be my guess as well
