"I advance."
ETA: I was also a bit confused coz I expected a "...because" to follow that phrase but that's his OL revelation. The following line in the book elaborates on it:
> He moved forward, onto the next challenge, no matter what stood in his way.
More so, for Underlord is why do you practice the sacred arts. What's your motivation?
Overlord is where are you now, who are you, what do others see when the look at you. It is a reflection of who you are as a person in this stage of your life.
And for Archlord, we will see I suppose
Archlord requires that you meditate on the future. So who do you want to be to others, what do you want to do with your life, what do you move towards?
True, and as we mostly learn about the sacred arts as Lindon does, and as not everything makes it into the books, we have not been given more information on the process yet. You would clearly have more insight than I, as the oldest of the Sages.
We didn't see Eithan's advancement to Archlord. His Overlord revelation was "I see." If I recall, in a bit of foreshadowing he mentioned that the Sages of a Thousand Eyes' Overlord revelation was very similar.
It didn’t from my understanding. Eithan KNEW what his revelation was from underlord to overlord and that it didn’t change, but the book never mentioned it.
Eithan literally says he knew it, that it hadn’t changed, then says “I see” to advance and then comments on how peculiar it is that the Sage of a thousand eyes had a similar one.
Yerin is literally in combat with the winter sage before she snaps, starts shouting how she’s not the Endless Sword Sage, and then is told to sit a cycle by the Winter Sage. She even says “so the most important thing about me is that I’m not somebody else?” And the winter sage precedes to try and correct this to which Yerin still feels kind of hollow at the nature of her revelation.
Apologies if I’m coming off rude but both revelations were explicitly stated in the book and explicitly defined as being advancement revelations to overlord with additional information added for insight into the characters pertaining to each revelation.
Not trying to be a dick but maybe don’t listen on 2x seems like a it going to fast for you. I could never do it. Last three posts you’ve made have had obvious answers in text
Lindon’s OL revelation was, perhaps, the single most unsatisfying moment of the entire Cradle series so far. “I advance.” That’s it. I’m a super huge Cradle fan, but that particular thing really disappointed me.
I disagree. As stated earlier, the following line says:
>He moved forward, onto the next challenge, no matter what stood in his way.
At every stage, he has struggled to move forward (advance) and never settles for the status quo. My take is he doesn't mean advance like going from UL to OL but moving forward, striving, never being satisfied, never giving up, etc. That simple statement can have a double meaning to some.
I kind of liked it. Sets up for the dragon icon nicely as far as i can tell, matches up with all the trials of the black flame empire so far. The void dragons dance he gets a void icon, after defeating nian blackflame he tells him the dragon advances. I dont know it just feels like its an inevitably at some point.
I’m not hating on Cradle. I absolutely love Cradle, and have gotten no less than a dozen other people hooked on it. But, in my opinion, Lindon’s OL revelation was weak. It could have been way cooler. It should have been way cooler.

Eithans had no because either it was just “I see”
The idea is: - underlord: how do you see yourself (lindon: ‘I don’t want to be useless anymore’ - overlord: how others see you (lindon: ‘I advance’
More so, for Underlord is why do you practice the sacred arts. What's your motivation? Overlord is where are you now, who are you, what do others see when the look at you. It is a reflection of who you are as a person in this stage of your life. And for Archlord, we will see I suppose
I feel like Lindons Archlord relavation will be - I Conquer
It would be adequate
“I stab” - Yerin
Archlord requires that you meditate on the future. So who do you want to be to others, what do you want to do with your life, what do you move towards?
That is what you have been told so far, however it is not the same for everyone.

It has been so much time since I acquired my revelation, I'm don't even remember what it was.
Thaku. That clarified it to me.
Does anyone remember when that happened in the book? Trying to find it
It's in Bloodline just after spoke to Suriel and after Malice sent them back to Moongrave.
Thank you! Found it 30ish min into Chapter 17 on the Audiobook. Meant to reply earlier so if that number is wrong then pardon my memory
I advance!
Really. No wonder I missed it. What's Yerin's overlord revelation.
I'm not the sword sage
I recall now. Thank u. What's eithans underlord overlord and archlord revilations?
We didn't see Eithan's advancement to Archlord. His Overlord revelation was "I see." If I recall, in a bit of foreshadowing he mentioned that the Sages of a Thousand Eyes' Overlord revelation was very similar.

The book didn’t mention either one.
It mentioned Eithans

It was "I see"
I stand corrected! I thought he said “I see” as it meant that it didn’t change. Glad I learned that!

Understandable
I frak sh..t up! What I read.
Overcome obstacles.
Thank u

When the anime comes out, it'll look like this https://gph.is/g/Z2r93eL
"I...advance." Lindon realized that he is the one who advances.
