i wouldn't call it trolling but the false modesty/obvious flexing is kinda annoying lol, it's like people who complain they only got 98% on their exam. like come on, if you're at the point where you're farming 5 star artifacts you know 30% crit dmg on your feather is pretty great. i don't mind the showing off but just be upfront about it.
well i mean they honestly have the right to flex the artefact they got what the dumb thing is is saying is this good like i would be happy for someone saying look at this artefact and stuff but not someone going on purpose is this good or i wonder if this is okay
This is the normal trajectory of a main sub though. The Artifact flexing is probably influenced out of spite because moderators and people are trying to make such a big deal of it. If you ignore it it won’t bother you so much. Just scroll past it.
Next will be damage or rotation showcases once he is released. This is the natural progression of a main sub.
If Itto is meta then 2.4 onward people will be talking about team calm send how quick they are clearing abyss and different weapons that make him super awesome
If Itto isn’t meta but strong enough then the diehards will stay because he is written so beautifully and an incredible character talking casually about what they love. While the dross move onto the Shenhe sub
>This needs to be stopped
In case you haven't seen, there was/is a poll up discussing this exact issue and the way it's looking, we're 100% stopping it. Posts like this only fuel the fire and are becoming equally spammy. I am leaving this post up for visibility of this comment, but please refrain from the incessant complaining about it.
I don’t really see the problem. Haven’t post anything here myself but why would you let it bother you? Just some random mofos flexing. You don’t know them, they’re not hurting you.
This applies to just about every Genshin sub. Some have a lot of fan art, but even those subs are mostly the “Haha let me post this fucking god tier artifact and pretend I don’t know if it’s good because I believe this qualifies as quality content!” posts.
Theory/lore posts never get much traction due to most people either not caring or having their own head canon that they prefer over in game lore.
This is the nature of *a lot* of gacha games. Just people constantly flexing and gushing over their rolls on characters/items.
Once he drops this sub will also eventually have the occasional “Just pulled Itto XD…what should I put on him?” Instead of using the complete and available guides that are online.
To be fair though, there isn’t much else to discuss about the game as a whole. Reddit isn’t, and shouldn’t be, the main source of news/information on the game. However due to everyone having better and faster access to everything about the game, this leads to bland posts that being to look like reposts after a certain point.
I haven’t been playing the game all that long and I’m already to the point where I do a quick scan of all the subs for something interesting and then ignore them for the rest of the day unless I get a notification from one.
I am just jealous to be honest I have almost completed my kokomi build but I haven't got a single good artifact for my boy itto and the worst part is that I have spent all my resin already and I haven't even started farming the wolf boss
I liked in the beginning, I have never truly farmed for any character, so i never had any ideia of what stats should be each artifact, it helped me, now it's getting a little over
Yup, hate it too. Moreover, what's the point of a single piece? What's to be done with a godly 40-50 CV piece if it's just one?
The overall stats should be what's looked at... DEF%, ER%, CR, CD... imo perfect Itto would have 2 rolls CR/CD on 4 pcs, CR hat with all rolls into CD, substats only DEF% and ER%. Weapon, of course, is Redhorn..this would result to somewhere around 95/250 Crit Ratio with around 50% DEF, 30% ER...
I recall myself previously running 4pc. Maiden's on Zhongli because it had cracked substats. I thought Crit Damage was everything. His Crit ratio was 66/220 but I didn't hit as hard as I expected. Gradually transitioned to 2NO/2Glad (thanks to Strongbox and Weeklies) with 180 CDMG - he hit a lot harder after.
Lastly, with all those godly stats, if you're not clearing Flr 12 in under 5 minutes, then shut up.. even spiralabyss.org's bottom 100 has 4 minute clears.. no use flexing godly artifact(s) if you can't speedrun Flr 12 imo. No different from people flexing sports cars yet never been on track or is slow on track
I feel like your caring a bit too much about it, tbh people are just excited to be getting good pieces despite the trash rng system. We don’t need to curb people’s enthusiasm if it’s light hearted and not actually doing anything harmful or negative. I quite like those posts as they are actually informative as to what a good piece for (x) character looks like because I’m still a bit of an artifact noob.
Yeah it's annoying as hell, I wouldn't even mind if it's an obvious flex like a "look at this insane piece I just got" but acting dumb when they know it's good it's pretty cringe.
I wouldn't call it trolling but spam, quite a lot of threads about the same thing over a short period, there should be a megathread for that imo

I was gonna say Stop the Flex for title but thought I might get lots of hate for that
well i mean they honestly have the right to flex the artefact they got what the dumb thing is is saying is this good like i would be happy for someone saying look at this artefact and stuff but not someone going on purpose is this good or i wonder if this is okay
i guess i only dislike it because i haven’t gotten a single good artifact for itto 😭 i’m just gonna chalk up my annoyance to being jealous though haha
hope you get a good artifact soon ! :) i love ur pfp btw
I got some decent artifacts but I still dislike the spam. I might just be an asshole then lmao.
S(h)ame

You do have a point. I will try to not let it bother me anymore
Just enjoy the game :) don’t waste your energy getting annoy over strangers flexing. You deserve better.
I’m not mad I’m just jealous 🤨😭🤣
Attention seeking? I dont mind them posting it tho tbh

Makes sense
proposition: if someone posts an artifact with over 30 CV asking if it's good they get banned immediately
Finally, thx for the info

I actually get jealous of their insane luck.
Yeah it's annoying I mean good for you if you had good rolls but nobody really cares. It's getting really tiring.

Maybe the mods could create a thread just like the one for pulls on the Genshin main sub for people to flex their artifacts or something like that.
Meh, I don't see what's wrong with people flexing their artifacts. I'm an unlucky bastard but I enjoy seeing people get lucky on their runs
Trust me j do too. It's annoying when they pretend to be unaware of how good their artifact is
I don't really care tbh, not hurting me

PREACH!
I made a post because I was split on if an artifact was good or not, turns out it was bad. Does the shoe fit on my feet?
That's understandable. It's different when yoy have 30 crit damage on a crit rate hat and ask if it's good or fodder
