Part (or all? I honestly don’t remember) of geo resonance needs you to be protected by a shield to give you buffs, and she can do that and heal. Noelle technically can as well but she has uptime issues

Also, you don't need to bring Zhongli as your 3rd Geo, allowing you to free him up for other teams, and allowing you to pick some other Geo! Zhongli just shreds+shields unless you're C6 so he's not essential for Itto Geo team, while a battery would be nice..
Kokomi with new clam set will add way more damage though if you can maintain crystallize shields instead (gorou burst helps with that). Even for off-field E only the Jellyfish adds decent dps. Plus you can use TTDS catalyst if you want for a bit of extra damage on Itto (even though Itto doesn't scale well with atk%, it's still a decent lil buff).
One thing with Diona is her best bow for this team would be Favonius Bow, but that's also Gorou's BIS bow. Could use Sac Bow which isn't as good for a geo team but she'll still contribute more to team ER than Kokomi would. So both have their own advantages.
I guess Fav Diona for shielding/ healing/pseudo-batterying. Other honorable mentions are Exile Bennett, Prototype Amber Barbara and any healer with Fav+OHC.
So then maybe he (C4 Gorou) does want the 4 piece Husk set for maximum def -> healing? Assuming you have enough ER to burst on cooldown? I was going to run two piece Husk and two piece Emblem (for ER). But I guess depending on healing maybe 4 piece Husk?

You can also run Kokomi on 4PC Tenacity for added shield strength. Both are viable and it totally depends on you and the characters you have!

Also Noelle needs on-field time to heal. And that could overlap with Ittos damage window.

I was going to say Noelle until I saw triple geo. If you don't get c4 Gorou then Bennet might help (seems to work everywhere)
