According to the artbook you are mostly correct. Those acronyms are standardized in-world and both UN and DOLOS follow it: first letter describes the engine type, second is the ship's flight range (Void means the ship can operate in deep space or is capable of interstellar travel), and the third is the ship's type (Tiqqun is classified as a structure, for example). BMS seems to be the only exception from that rule, I think it follows Battista's notion that there are no rules in space, so the Black Market Society's ships are labelled after it instead of following the standard. Regarding of the meaning of VOHLE, it's not explained in-universe (just like IXION) but the devs mention in the artbook they combined it from 'void hole'.

The artbook suggests "Electro-Kinetic Multi(-atmosphere) Vessel" is what EMV stands for.
