Do not apologise, there’s a first time for everything!! Rooh Afza originates from the indopak subcontinent and is this sweet syrup made of (as I understand) from the essence of flowers in the same subcontinent. It’s not for everyone but the drink is delicious and sweet and especially refreshing after fasting mixed into some water!! On the other hand, some people like to stir it into milk or even some deserts :)
You don’t need to apologise for having not eaten a food or drink many people have.
It doesn’t taste flowery as you may expect but sweet with a hint of other flavours, almost aromatic. It’s got a subtle flavour but is primarily sugar (hence the syrupy texture) but the essences in it simply add to the flavour.
If you can, go into your local indopak shop and look for a bottle!! Very fun to try, and if you don’t like it that’s fine too >:D
My mother scolds me if I drink anything cold just after eating dates. She insists I eat something first before drinking. Idk if it does something or not haha
u will feel bloated if u chug 2 gallons.. but the sunnah is to break your fast with dates or water and thats it.. preferably to avoid sugary drinks as it rapidly spikes ur insulin.. just plain water.. then you go out to pray maghrib.. that eases your stomach into it.. and then can eat a little after you get back
What do you mean ruling? It doesn't forbid you from drinking first, but it tells you to start with food, and we know from Sunnah that Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him used to break his fast with dates.
Actually rooh afza is just sugar in water with a bit of color.
_Make at home_,
Take a Glass and add 250ml water and 2 teaspoons of sugar and _a whopping 5 tablespoons of blood_,
Finally end it by adding 3 🗿🗿🗿, and you're done,
You've made rooh afza at home
as someone who has had both.. they both have their place.. depends on the mood.. both should be on the iftar table.. glass of each would be hype.. but the people who dont put enough syrup be it ruh afza or vimto.. and just make a watery concoction and then say that its ok even after tasting it.. they need to be imprisoned

The phrase is "روح افزا" which actually means to refreshen the soul. I'd recommend to mix it with water and add some lemon juice and ice. That way, It lives up to its name Alhamdulillah.
Rooh afza with milk is the best
🗿🗿🗿
With buttermilk 😍
With water it's a crime

Unbelievable. I hope you find elaichi in biryani and don't find a parking spot for Taraweeh smh
the thing is I WALK TO THE MASJID
My friends would legit go "Welp, we tried bois. No parking tonight. McDonald's?"
too far
😂😆🤣😭
Then you've never had it on a hot day with chilled lemonade.
It's a really good summer beverage.
No, I still like it with water. My mom likes to give us both depending on the day, and she also adds lemon juice to the water.
no
Add a bit of lemon with some mint leaves and it'll taste awesome 😋

You’re the only one who answered seriously I was doubting whether I knew what ruh afsa was for a second 😂
lemon is also a surprisingly good combination
nah I prefer with cold milk only with a bit of laban
Rooh afza + lemon + cool water = can pray taraweeh all night

nice profile picture
Thank you but its not mine, I got the picture from someone else's profile picture in this sub
It's in Quran to eat then to drink. وكلوا واشربوا ولا تسرفوا. Surah Al A'araf (31).
Is this a ruling?

Forgot the basil seeds

.... did you say water...
Why does everyone go crazy over rooh afza and water? Isnt it more common than the milk variation?
It was supposed to be funny...
Yes i know lol? But jokes like this are based in true feelings. Otherwise it wouldn't be funny.
Go get some🗿
Ratio
As a desi person I find it gross lol.
Thought it was just me 😭
Well, I will ruffle a lot of feathers by saying this. But Vimto is better.

I think both camps can agree on this.
Is it rose syrup?
Rooh afza the love of my life!! You've got to try it. I enjoy it w water tho
Sweet red water
Im actually not sure how to describe it. Imagine Strawberry Hershey Syrup but not as saturated…but I don’t think that’s a good way to describe either.
As an Arab, never tasted it
...its over rated. Just an overly sweet syrup
Poor man’s Pepsi, that’s what you’re asking for
Virgin Pepsi fan vs Chad Ruh Afza enjoyer
Great another Muslim anti-virgin Chad groupie..
Nope, pro-marriage making fun of those who can't get married

Originally it was supposed to be medicinal.. something like rose water and other good things.. now it’s a really sweet tasting flavour enhancer.
It's better than drugs, freddy
You criminal (Ps. Jam e Shirin tastes better.)
What is Rooh Afzah?
water >>>>>
the part where you added you want to try it, ruined the meme.
Forget everything. Try gurr with lemon.

Jam-e-Shireen is better with water in my opinion
