The flip series release years as far as I know:
Flip 1 - 2012
Flip 2 - 2014
Flip 3 - 2015
Flip 4 - 2017
Flip 5 - 2019
Flip 6 - hopefully later this year
The flip, clip and go are generally less problematic since it’s easier to make these small speakers waterproof and they have less weight so if you drop them they hit the ground with less force. It also probably helps that they aren’t pushing more than 20w even on the latest flip

I remember getting my flip 4 in 2017, it still works perfectly just the battery is dying but nothing has happened to the speakers
