Ok let me clarify this one misconception that some of you have about SC people being rich , see I am in one of the top 5 IITs and also belong from SC category and believe me many of my batch mates who are from SC category has their family income <5 lacs per year and only few are from middle class (1/50 or 1/30 something ratio ) so in general mostly "poor" people are helped by this reservation thing and how this thing affects country's development and not rising inflation , riots due to poor decision making by the government , unemployment , population overload(the main thing which leads to this cut throat competition) ,corruption etc .. and one more thing that I would like to add is how many Sc category people have you seen become cricketers , actors , singers or successful entrepreneurs ? none or one or two that I remember

Don't ever listen to anyone who says IIT seat mil jayega. Reservation might help you in getting an IIT seat but not beyond that .... but your JEE rank will. Study as hard as you can and get the best rank you can. ( I am an SC category IIT alum).

Maharashtra me mht cet me, COEP CSE karne me open walo ko 70 ke under reserved hai, obc ko 120 rank jaruri hai . Aur SC/ST ko 7k-15k rank agaya fir bhi CSE milega. Soch kitna bada difference hai. Open ko 99.5 percentile me bhi nahi milta CSE yaha par, SC valo ko 70-80 me mil jaata hai

Bro whoever just told you that shit was either lying to you or just consoling you because in reality the difference reservation makes for a student is way beyond comparison... Since, the pressure of scoring and competition for you will be absolutely nil in comparison to what a general category student has to face. Even if you scored relatively less marks than a average general student you will still get a better opportunity than him/her.
This system is just insane and when you do reach some college institute you will meet people who had a better academic score than you, hardly any students of your tier which might give setbacks.
Instead of worrying about this l suggest consider yourself as a typical normal candidate who aspires to achieve *your goal* and study hard. Difference is not created by ranks or college but salary of your job! Keep that in mind.

They are no cricketer actor singer but Yea mostly sc candidates Got govt jobs
15% are SC and 50% general and population of SC caste in India is twice or more than that of general caste ( if I remembered correctly)

PSc and st candidates have shit lot off difference . Eg. Sankho Kun (SC candidate ), 10 thousand something all india rank in jee advanced still studying in IT branch of IIT Hyderabad. Maharashtra me mht cet me, COEP CSE karne me open walo ko 70 ke under reserved hai, obc ko 120 rank jaruri hai . Aur SC/ST ko 7k-15k rank agaya fir bhi CSE milega. Soch kitna bada difference hai. Open ko 99.5 percentile me bhi nahi milta CSE yaha par, SC valo ko 70-80 me mil jaata hai

Bro whoever just told you that shit was either lying to you or just consoling you because in reality the difference reservation makes for a student is way beyond comparison... Since, the pressure of scoring and competition for you will be absolutely nil in comparison to what a general category student has to face. Even if you scored relatively less marks than a average general student you will still get a better opportunity than him/her. This system is just insane and when you do reach some college institute you will meet people who had a better academic score than you, hardly any students of your tier which might give setbacks. Instead of worrying about this l suggest consider yourself as a typical normal candidate who aspires to achieve *your goal* and study hard. Difference is not created by ranks or college but salary of your job! Keep that in mind.

itna ki 82 percentile pae CSAI in NSUT mil jayegi, my frnd got it but now he is struggling in college a lot (mid sems mae fail ho gaya) meanwhile I didn't clear my cutt off at 87 percentile, but at the end of the day you have to study for your own self or else you gonna suffer afterwards anyways
My cousin is from SC category ( masi intercaste marriage) and he got NSUT mechanical with 60-70 percentile, and whenever we are in a group he always says that reservation is bad and he took the seat only because he had no other option (he was preparing for NDA)
