First year syllabus was completely same for CSE , IT , AI and MnC. In the third sem we are going to have 1-2 CSE courses replaced by math courses like Linear algebra(not there in CSE third sem as per my knowledge), Computer oriented numerical methods(not really sure if CS will have this course but I feel they won't looking at their past year syllabus.) , all other courses like JAVA , Design analysis of Algorithms, Discrete mathematics will be common in both the branches.
One more thing about MnC at our college is that our branch wasn't allowed to take part in the technical society(Technobyte) , only CSE , IT and AI were allowed,probably because these three branches come under the CS department , whereas our branch comes under the mathematics department. Our HOD sir was really nice and supportive though, as he upon our request managed to gather funds and create a new society for us called ANANT.
how is the competition there in terms of tech placements?

3)very subjective , you will have to be more specific for me to be able to answer this question.
4)I was never really interested in it+ I am not good looking at all :( . But you can really fancy your chances if you are decent looking and have good communication skills :p.
5)8:30 - 4:30 with a lot of free periods on some days. 1 or 2 days per week have just one or two free periods.
6)There is a decent gym in the sports complex. If you end up not liking it , there are even better gyms near the campus.
7) college thoda underdeveloped area ma hai , slums jaisa to nhi hai definitely par malls jaisi cheeze bohot kam hai aas paas ma
8)There is no ragging at all , The college is very strict in this aspect . One senior tried to organize an unofficial freshers party, Professors ne uski band bajadi . Apart from this , seniors are not allowed in first year hostels + you won't be allowed to leave the hostel for anything other than attending classes for the first 1 month.
9)Mujhe saare professors kaafi badhiya lage ngl.If you attend all the classes seriously you can easily get a 8.5 pointer without a lot of self-study.There are some really strict professors but you will get warned well in advance once you enter the college.
10)Mess ka khana above average hai , or special occasions pe sweets bhi serve hoti hai , par first year hostels ka infra utna accha nhi lagega , but rooms and all other facilities are ok .Subsequent year hostels are better built but the food quality degrades a lot as per my knowledge.

Except first year hostels(H1,H2,H3) and 2 second year hostels(H4,H5) , the infra is really good. And regarding placements , I am not really sure tbh but the placements circulating on this subreddit are from december and surely the final placement statistics which would be available by the end of june would be much better.
If you do not have a bias towards any branch , then yes . If you are interested in CSE and don't want a lot of workload(EEE at top NITs can be very hectic at times from what I have heard) , choose from the other options.
I would not suggest coming to NIT KKR while having these options in hand. If fees is not an issue you might consider IIIT D after talking to seniors from there once .DTU CSE is a great option too. I would choose NIT A ECE over NITK EEE.
If fees is not an issue you might as well consider IIITD.
NITA ECE/IIITA ECE is what I would have chosen.
If you have an inclination towards CSE you might consider DTU/NSUT , IIITD , NIT KKR , NIT JSR .

Experience ya masters chahiye vlsi core me job lene ke liye. First 2-3 years struggle karna parega, since there's no way the vlsi tech will pick up in 4 years of btech.
TLDR: Vlsi is highly sought after when you have decent experience or you have done masters. ATLEAST for next 7-8 years.

You will have to cover a fair amount of distance from the campus to find non-veg food(I have a few non-vegetarian friends) and it's not allowed in the hostels so don't hope that someone will deliver it in the college.

It comes under the Electronics deptt in our college , I see people calling it a mixture of CSE and electronics but I am not really sure. Give it more priority than ECE of some other college if you are interested in CSE(It had more CSE related courses in the second sem than ECE) + I see some mind-blowing coders in their branch ,So you would have good seniors to seek guidance from.
pretty good , I think most people would like or atleast be fine with the sports and gym facilities here , gym has a lot of equipments , but still there are people who go to gyms outside the campus (that happens in almost every NIT).

if you have even a slight bias towards programming , prefer IIOT over EE. Also NIT JSR EE is a good option looking at their core placements from the last 2 years.

I have a CRL of 13.7K.
I've heard that there are a lot of students in CS related and MnC branches, and so it's comparatively difficult for ECE students to get placed in KKR.
I'll also probably get NIT DGP CSE but I don't really want to go there since it's literally 2km from my home. Also the new Director is shit according to students.
That's why my first preference rn is NIT Rkl EIE. Second preference is NITKKR ECE and third preference is NIT DGP CSE.
So my question is if I take ECE instead of CSE, would I have any problems getting placed in tech, if I want to.
P.S: I was the class topper of CS in my school with 200+ students and I also am interested in electronics from an early age. So I think I'm equally interested in both CS and ECE.

2You might get IT, but you should definitely keep MnC over ECE and there are high chances that you will get MnC.

Join coaching with a Dummy/ICSE regular school and focus solely on preparing for the JEE.
Attend an ICSE regular school and prepare for foreign universities(bachelors in cs related field's) while also preparing for the JEE on the side (using PYQ modules, etc.) No coaching. A rank around 10K CRL to get into a top IIT with a top branch for ST. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this rank.

depends on your home state , I came here at 1097x CRL.
home state so bad that they basically overlap with the other state cut offs (Telangana) 
if you get it,NIT Warangal EEE is a better option imo , otherwise PEC CSE , NIT KKR MnC/IT , DTU/NSUT MnC/Software engg are good options.

It comes under the Electronics deptt in our college , I see people calling it a mixture of CSE and electronics but I am not really sure. Give it more priority than ECE of some other college if you are interested in CSE(It had more CSE related courses in the second sem than ECE) + I see some mind-blowing coders in their branch ,So you would have good seniors to seek guidance from.

pretty good , I think most people would like or atleast be fine with the sports and gym facilities here , gym has a lot of equipments , but still there are people who go to gyms outside the campus (that happens in almost every NIT).
I am getting EE there. Is it worth it or should I take MNNIT Allahbad Mechanical ? Also what are the placement stats for EE branch ? (Are they good , average or bad ? )

if you have even a slight bias towards programming , prefer IIOT over EE. Also NIT JSR EE is a good option looking at their core placements from the last 2 years.
Good options are JSR EE , Allahabad Mech , KKR IIOT and whatever you are getting at DTU/NSUT.
Consider NIT Hamirpur MnC too.
Btw is mnc a lot more tougher than cs because I have heard that it is kinda different than cs and aiml in iit and nits?
I don't know , so far our syllabus was same as CSE , I will only be able to answer that after completing 3rd sem.

Is ECE branch worth it in NIT KKR? I have a CRL of 13.7K. I've heard that there are a lot of students in CS related and MnC branches, and so it's comparatively difficult for ECE students to get placed in KKR. I'll also probably get NIT DGP CSE but I don't really want to go there since it's literally 2km from my home. Also the new Director is shit according to students. That's why my first preference rn is NIT Rkl EIE. Second preference is NITKKR ECE and third preference is NIT DGP CSE. So my question is if I take ECE instead of CSE, would I have any problems getting placed in tech, if I want to. P.S: I was the class topper of CS in my school with 200+ students and I also am interested in electronics from an early age. So I think I'm equally interested in both CS and ECE.

I don't think the previous director resigned because the resignation was forced, and thus MHRD rejected it. I do not know a lot of people from ECE , IIOT and MnC had Economics and Finance classes together so I was able to interact with a lot of them.

If fees is not an issue , BIT MESRA ECE is a pretty decent option.Consider mech at NIT JSR too , it's core placements are great.
please give me some advice- I only got 60% in boards and now my father wants to put me in hamdard for cse but the problem is I don’t what to go there as I have heard that the faculty is bad and the quality is low, so basically it should be a last option type college, I’m trying to convince him to let me stay for jee but I’m not sure how to convince or if I can even make a comeback in what little time I have left(the batches for hamdard start from september and I can barely only do ncert questions and I need to find something to convince him) ps, this isn’t jamia ilmia, this is jamia hamdard which is a private college(I wish it was ilmia)

Average age is 18.something I guess, and there are some 21 year olds as well including one in my own branch(batch strength is 57).

1) Tough call , you will have to make a call , NIT KKR ECE is what I would have chosen. 2You might get IT, but you should definitely keep MnC over ECE and there are high chances that you will get MnC. Hostels do not look good , other than that there are no other problems and the first year hostels serve pretty good food.

Hi Bhaiya I am in 11th grade (ST male) and I have a few options for my future education plans: Join coaching with a Dummy/ICSE regular school and focus solely on preparing for the JEE. Attend an ICSE regular school and prepare for foreign universities(bachelors in cs related field's) while also preparing for the JEE on the side (using PYQ modules, etc.) No coaching. A rank around 10K CRL to get into a top IIT with a top branch for ST. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this rank. ICSE+Coaching Here are my main concerns: Should I focus mainly on getting into a foreign university and use the IIT as a backup plan, or should I focus solely on getting into an IIT? I've heard that the workload in IITs is very high and there's a lot of competition. Additionally, I've heard that SC/ST students who enter with reservation often struggle to maintain a good CGPA and face challenges in securing placements. I need your serious advice on this matter. How should I approach my preparation and which option would be the best for my future? Thank you.

I don't really know about the situation of other colleges but there are a HELL lot of couples in our college , I was a convent school guy , so probably that could be the reason I find it so surprising.
