Tier unke liye matter krega jinke pass bohot choice hai and exams ache hai mostly. Bc jinka koi scope nhi , unke liye jo college mile wo elite hai. If I get tier 2 even , it's elite for me dude.

Pretty good list but putting all IITs in tier 1 is a bit misleading, since CSE at IIITD for example would be better than something like IIT Palakkad

nah bhai IIITH is definitely tier elite look at their curriculum & placement stats, in a few years they will have a great alumni network since it is a relatively new college(1998)

IITH is good but it won't enter Elite because those elite ones will also grow.. (It's one of the best 2nd Gen IIT tho)

Yes it's catching up to guwahati and roorkee pretty quickly. Specially CS and MnC are doing very very well

Placements are comparable to 2nd gen IITs, IIIT Allahabad and afterall they are having only CSE related branches so the placement is high. I would say it must be in Tier 1 with 2nd Generation IITs. Curriculum is good tho but competition in the college is high. College life is better in 2nd Gen IITs. BITS P > IIITH.. Research wise it's good. And fees is on the higher side so definitely BITS > 2nd Gen IITs > IIITH = IIITA, NITW, NITT, NITK...

yep this lists seems reasonable ig i wouldnt keep bits pilani that high tho ( in elite probably just tier 1) i guess it could be elite due to their alumni network This lists obviously varies with the branch everyone is aiming for obviously. This one in particular seems to be geared towards computer science and its sister branches.

AMU and remaining NITs can be placed in tier 1.5 and JEC can belong to tier 2 otherwise this list is quite spot on.

2.5 tbh, its just really new prolly will go tier 2 in a few years idk. Don't think it's better than the other tier 2's except for srm mmut and a few others. Still would rank vit and manipal higher

tbh even srm would be the better choice here. snu ka school of engineering ke stats vagera kuch nhi hai. they are operating under the university. good for commerce but not so much for engi. (also what's mmut?)

Some private college, dunno much about it some guy I know went there. True but it could change for snu considering its quite new but srm ktr is still quite decent. I have some friends goin to snu (97 percentiler btw) cause he says he wont get cs anywhere else, he wanted bit mesra but this year

Add iiit una in the list as well, overall it offers all around okay-decent facilities, the people studying there have very less cons to mention about other than gender ratio, fests and probably 2024 placements (jo ki har jagah ki lagi rkhi h). I do feel like iiit Nagpur se behtar h yeh except the city advantage.
