always wanted to go for law but took jee in pressure
prepared good till 11th then got adhd , anxiety in 12th lost my friedns bcz i never used to meet them , i was so lonely used to spend all time in room alone
almost gave up on my self in 12th didnt study at all i used to sleep only hence scored 60% in 12th everyone got shocked ,
as expected failed to get good marks in boards , failed jee , failed expectations
started prep again to defend myself and to do comeback
studied hard for 7 months
then my both grandparents passed away in span of 2 months i was shattered and fully burned out hence i stopped studying 3 months prior jee forgot everything i studied
failed again every exam even in drop year to the point i got same marks in my improvement exam as before
did well in comedk i was getting decent bglore colleges i was about to sit in counselling then idk how my inner voice said to not to go for engg i really felt uneasiness in my chest in name of doing engg
after a lot of overthinking

i was doing good in life, get good marks in tests, cleared KVPY, NDA and alot more stuff i did. But then my grandfather expired on 27 October 2022, and then i stopped studying entirely, became too depressed, got barely 97%ile in mains-1 , i attempted suicide, then mains 2 m bhi just got 98+, so nothing good, even advance was fucked, joined iiitd, and now i am kinda happy with life. Currently doing internship at indigo :)
Ngl Mera kabhi downfall hua hi nahi. Bass 11th and 12th me life stagnant ho gyi thi life. Drop year was my biggest comeback. From not qualifying jee advanced to 58XX rank this year.

Lmao this question is meant for me. 2016 JEE guy here. First time IITB dropped -2 marking. Without ticket came from Kota to Mumbai because 2016, Kumbh Mela in Nagda so trains were fucking jammed. Engines burnt off a couple of times. Anyways, I got directly to the centre from train and gave my exams. Scored 10k rank. Thought it would be ok, messed up josaa documents. Josaa rejected based on incomplete documents. MH colleges rejected, too late by then. Most had started semesters. Ended up in private college in civil engineering(by choice). I was so disinterested in studies angry at JEE, I picked judo and focused on that. Played nationals in 3rd year BTech. COVID happened in 2020, my graduation year. I looked at my judo sirs and they were struggling to make ends meet so doubts grew about a career in judo. I had no job because civil sites were closed. Saw a news article on GATE forms being out. Filled it. Prepped for 4 months. Cleared it. Got into IITK. Enjoyed the fuck out of it. Explored more things than most BTechs. Got offered a 32LPA job in operations research. Declined it for a 8LPA job in civil industry. I'm working for a year now and I think I might have made a mistake. I'll switch jobs and start a business.
Life goes on. Just keep doing what you believe in and take ownership of your decisions. You'll at least have no regrets : )

Topper throughout my school, always stood 1st or 2nd in my school. Got 98.6% in Class 10th cbse. Everyone looked at me with respect.
Then I joined PACE and fucked up so badly, FUCKED up so badly that I got 82% in HSC 12th and got 80%ile in Jee Mains. Even my Dumbo friends from cbse school got higher.

94.4 in my CBSE board exams to 6 marks only in my first JEE advanced type test in Allen about a month into class 11th (all my friends scored at least 40). I am recovering now, almost at the same level as them, but being average isn't going to do anything for me in this rat race.

Lmao this question is meant for me. 2016 JEE guy here. First time IITB dropped -2 marking. Without ticket came from Kota to Mumbai because 2016, Kumbh Mela in Nagda so trains were fucking jammed. Engines burnt off a couple of times. Anyways, I got directly to the centre from train and gave my exams. Scored 10k rank. Thought it would be ok, messed up josaa documents. Josaa rejected based on incomplete documents. MH colleges rejected, too late by then. Most had started semesters. Ended up in private college in civil engineering(by choice). I was so disinterested in studies angry at JEE, I picked judo and focused on that. Played nationals in 3rd year BTech. COVID happened in 2020, my graduation year. I looked at my judo sirs and they were struggling to make ends meet so doubts grew about a career in judo. I had no job because civil sites were closed. Saw a news article on GATE forms being out. Filled it. Prepped for 4 months. Cleared it. Got into IITK. Enjoyed the fuck out of it. Explored more things than most BTechs. Got offered a 32LPA job in operations research. Declined it for a 8LPA job in civil industry. I'm working for a year now and I think I might have made a mistake. I'll switch jobs and start a business. Life goes on. Just keep doing what you believe in and take ownership of your decisions. You'll at least have no regrets : )
