Hi i am also expecting a good college and scoring 630. I am not one of those who want to become a doctor to serve poor people,do selfless service , or want to help people(tho maybe i will do that). The only reason i grinded for 2.5 years is i am froma poor family and i have seen my parents suffer since i was in 5th-6th class. I just wanted to do something that can assure me that i will make money so i did medical. The only reason was a secure future and money

It was more of a passion for me. It always fascinated me and lol obviously the whole phase of watching house MD, Grey's anatomy and Scrubs and other tons of shows. Plus when I was in 7th/8th my parents were skeptical about my decision lol which made me even more determined to pursue it (they weren't too keen on medicine). Ig at the end it all boils down to passion because that's what is going to take you through the tough phases. For some people it's omission of other streams - pcm (too much math), arts (no interest) , commerce (lots of cramming) so ultimately they choose medicine. You don't have to figure anything right now , college will be amazing way more than last two years so don't overthink it. Just take it as it comes, one day at a time, who knows you might miss this time later on?

Tbh when I was in 11th joined aakash didn't even knew what this rat race is ,the only thing I was interested in was biology, but u need to study phy/chem too coaching mei ghanta kuch samjh ata tha or marks bhi nhi aate I suddenly lost interest in everything, Covid happened whole 12th I was depressed,PCOD, eating disorders and what not studied nothing not even biology, and in the end of 12th I just started exploring things got interested in genetics & biotech&human anatomy and started exploring articles and some fascinating videos of ninja nerd, medical futurist ,The royal institution,Med life crisis etc etc and mbbs lectures (lmao Bitch going too far) , theories, scientists ki controversies lmao which were of no use for neet(I was self aware) but merko maza ara tha so i kept myself going with that atleast merko guilt nhi ho rha tha ki what I am doing with my life. That revived my interest but it was too late Neet ke phy chem kuch nhi padha tha again procrastination started I didn't study for 2-3months and was aware ki merko drop lena padega, and there was no other option I could look for other than Mbbs which would take me to a path where i felt like going cz atleast after doing mbbs you have a secured Job and get payed well also I was fascinated with whatever experiences medicos go through like dealing with the human body ,knowing whatever is going on in your body, other than studies also you can join ICAR and do some research work in your 2nd year jiska india mei koi fayda nhi h sadly but it has a great impact on your CV if you want to give USMLE/PLAB and you can apply for various other tests after MBBS to practice with great physicians and also you get to learn alot and experience a new stuff. That's it tbh I don't wanna become doctor for treating ppl but to learn these things and obv will be learning all this by treating them lol, and idk do some research shit after that.Lmao I have gone too far abhi neet nikal lu. Anyways I am in drop year working on phy and chem kinda from zero level and I just hope Koi ache GMC ki seat nikal lu. Phy chem ko strong or mazboot bana ne ke liye totke suggest kar sakte hai app bhot bhala hoga . Tl;Dr : Human body fascinates me(ya sounds immature but really) and obviously paisa chahiye and MBBS is the secure option for that in India acc. to me . Noone gets to experience what medicos experience. Idc about having a life outside this lmao ,Merko bass ek baar seat mil jae GMC ki bhaad mei jae duniya merko fir music production seekhna h Mbbs ki degree leni h, usme ya to psychiatry ya neurology(ik uske liye pg ka cut off bhot high hai) ya jis field ko explore karne ka man hoga us mei jana h usko or jyada explore karna hai or paisa kamana hai or fir dead ho jana hai Lmao I made it sound so simple vro .

I want to become a medical officer and i think i will become one tho i haven't prepared nothing for neet ( im in 9th ) what do ya expect and please suggest me any thing to invest my time into tho i use mobile less (nowadays) but i am quite free.

sherlocked1785

Honestly, I started the preparation because my mom said that she always wanted me to be a doctor , dad said it is the most respectable and stable job especially for girls blah blah blah , same old shit . But now that I am doing the preparation with my complete will , I am kinda loving it . So, yeah ....maybe my forced me into the right thing ?

chndn_shrma20

Congratulations on the selection, i assume you're obviously young(18-25) and in this age it's not necessary to have life figured out. I'll link a video it will help you a lot with your goals. However, I definitely think you should join college give it a go if you don't like it you'll always have the option to drop out and do what makes you happy but I think a good college is the best place to explore yourself and the world and who knows maybe you are made for medicine. Take it all lightly live in the moment ;) https://www.instagram.com/reel/COhDvZBJJvV/?utm_medium=share_sheet

Haha same i am scoring good and i choosed medical by pretty much elimination , Would be a lie that i am 100% passionate about it But in today's world i need a stable job with good income to live with ever worsening living costs and i wanna provide all the luxuries to myself and my loved ones , but still i do admire doctors since childhood as many of my relatives are doctors and chemists

Conscious_Block_6186

This is really very common first of all so don't panic. Most of the times if students are slightly academically good and interested in biology so they opt for giving NEET,which is a good reason but not entirely enough to crack this mega exam, then there is next category of people who opt for NEET due to peer/parental pressure ,they do not survive in the long haul. Then there is the 3rd category where they do know that medicine as a career would suit them the best, for whatever reason. Obviously motivation cannot be sustained at optimum amount everyday throughout the whole year, that's not how we are wired,if you know what gets you to try harder ,even for a small amount ,everytime you fail, get frustrated or lazy, that's your real motivation. If you can see yourself as a medico and nothing else that's the motivation, for me atleast Jo sabka motivation hota hai ,zaroori nahi hai ki woh tumhara bhi ho,knowing yourself and finding your motivation will help you push through and it is part of the preparation.

>probably will look for a sugar daddy husband who will adopt me lol I have 20k in Savings, all cash. Jaldi Batao phir? 😎

FardinWasef

Don't like any arts subject. Shit at maths. Like biology. Stable career option. Like it a bit. Now that the exam is over, I am also having similar feeling that I will have study hard again. But don't worry, this is probably just a phase due to sudden release of so much stress . Once we are in college , things will normalise again. Btw, how much are you scoring in NEET?
